“…thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his stautes which are written in this

book of the law, and…turn unto the LORD thy God

with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.”

Deuteronomy 30:10

“For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word?  Who hath marked his word, and heard it?

“Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind:  it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

“The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart:  in the latter days

ye shall consider it perfectly.

“Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?”

Jeremiah 23:18 – 20, 23

This question should have an obvious answer – a response that should be forthright and straight to the point.  Being Israelites who have been blessed with wisdom and knowledge know that nothing comes before the keeping of GOD’s Laws, Statutes, and Judgments – NOTHING!  But does GOD’s Law always come FIRST with us?!

And to make my “point,” how long did it take you to think about the correct response in order to answer this question?  To be truthful, I know that I am committed to GOD’s Book of the Law, but to answer the question of “how committed I am” is what requires a little more contemplation.

I think about my forefathers and all their sins: worshipping of false gods, forsaking the Most High GOD of Israel and completely ignoring HIS Laws, Statutes and Judgments, and how they for many generations angered the Holy ONE of Israel, so severely that HE cursed us and sent us into captivity into our enemies’ lands, as a result of their disobedience and stiffneckedness.

“I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear:  but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.”   Isaiah 66:4

Are we any better or wiser than our forefathers, or are we just like them?  Do we strive with all our hearts to please Our GOD of Israel by keeping HIS Book of the Law and worshipping and serving Only HIM?  Are we worthy of HIS Merciful kindness and the blessings HE has waiting for us?  Are we worthy of representing HIM, i.e., showing forth HIS Praise???  And ultimately, are we ready to return to our heritage and be obedient and observe GOD’s Book of the Law “ONE WAY” – as it is written and without adding the imaginations of our own hearts, as did our forefathers?.

Today, so many of our leaders around the World acknowledge the GOD of Israel, but they also have their own ideals about GOD’s Law and about serving HIM.  Being committed to GOD’s Book of the Law cannot include the use of the imaginations of our hearts regardless of how positive or how benign certain concepts might seem.  We cannot substitute GOD’s Law with our/other imagined theories of what’s right or wrong for us.

We’ve been under Gentile rule even before the days of Ezra and Nehemiah, the last known leaders in Judah to inhabit the land.  (There are some who beg to differ with me, however, I’ll just leave it at that.)  In any case, the issue doesn’t change a thing whether there were Judahites still in the land during the Grecian/Roman Era or not because even if there were, they had no control or authority and Judah still went into captivity.

Because of failing to keep GOD’s Law, the Judahites of Ezra’s and Nehemiah’s days had no power.  Let’s not forget that history records Medio/Persian rule of the land of Israel at this time and afterwards began the Grecian and Roman Empires with ultimate control over the land of Israel and its inhabitants.  Yes, the facts are that at this time the Gentiles reigned supreme.  The Holy ONE of Israel had long since taken power and authority from the Ten Tribes of Israel (who had already been taken into captivity under the Assyrians) and from the Tribe of Judah all because of their forsaking HIM and HIS Book of the Law.  I think all will agree that this is really what’s at issue here, and my reason for posing this question – “How Committed Are We To Keeping GOD’s Book of the Law?”

Some Israelite leaders might not appreciate this question depending upon their agendas.  From my experience, the best I might add – Praise YIHOVAH, I know that our leaders are not willing to change from their false thoughts and concepts about worshipping the True and Living GOD of Abraham.  Some leaders who call themselves Israelites don’t even acknowledge the ONE GOD of Israel, but hold belief in a “Messiah.”  Strange, right?  Even though it was the Holy ONE of Israel that saved our people out of Egypt and gave them Righteous Laws, Statutes, and Judgments, and the land of Canaan for a possession.  Even though the entire “Old Testament” concerns GOD’s Love for HIS People in choosing them if they would just worship HIM and keep HIS Law.  Even though it was Our GOD that sent us into captivity under the Gentiles, Israelites yet, foolishly have belief in a “man” to serve “him” and not the Most High GOD that formed us.  Unreal!!!   Under these circumstances, we know just how committed these Messianics are to GOD’s Law, don’t we?!   Indeed they are setting themselves up for a very rude awakening when they will have to accept the fact that there is no one to plead their cause (Jeremiah 30:13).

“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.”   Jeremiah 17:5,7

In the past, I was a member of two Hebrew Israelite groups: first “The Israelite Bible Class” and then “Abeta Israel” (Ben Ammi’s Group).   In both groups I sought GOD’s Truth, but I didn’t get really and truly serious about my heritage until going to Liberia and then on to Israel where I wholeheartedly and intensely learned to fear the All-Mighty GOD of Israel and to seek an understanding of HIS Law and HIS Word to HIS Prophets.  And in doing so, I was compelled to leave the last group, Ben Ammi’s Camp in 1973, because he had opposing and adverse ideals about members of his group serving him and looking to him as being their Saviour.

“If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not know, thou, nor thy fathers;

“Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;

“Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:

“But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.”   Deuteronomy 13:6

Israelites seeking GOD’s Righteousness will serve and worship Only the Most High GOD of Israel, strive to keep this GOD’s Law, and look to HIM for Deliverance and Redemption.   Hence, I could not stay with Ben Ammi’s Camp and be true to My GOD.  And I am sure that there are many other Israelites who are members of other various Hebrew Israelite Congregations who also feel that they cannot be true to the Holy ONE of Israel if they stayed with their groups.  No doubt, they, too, are apprehensive about leaving them.

Because we must be committed to GOD’s Book of the Law, then have no fear to leave your groups if your leaders do not worship the Most High GOD of Israel according to GOD’s designated Hebrew Way of Life that HE specifically outlined for us. Time is short, and we must abandon evil and all unrighteousness and return to the ONLY upright “Way” that exists, and that is GOD’s Way – HIS Book of the Law.  Our forefathers did not take this initiative, thus, the reason for our calamity.  However, we can change the times.  We can cause Our GOD to hear us and to save us from this oppression and Gentile control, but it will take obedient Israelites.

“But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.

“Neither say they in their heart Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season; he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

“Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.

”For among my people are found wicked men:  they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.”   Jeremiah 5:23 - 26

The Holy ONE was with me when I left Ben’s group, and HE will be with you, as well if you wisely choose to do the same.  Actually, YIHOVAH let me know that I need Only HIM.  Therefore, if you cannot encourage the leaders of your groups to commit themselves to GOD’s Law and to HIS Righteousness, then I urge you to do what’s absolutely necessary and right - leave your congregations!  According to GOD’s Word, if we allow ourselves to be led by false leaders, then we, too, are doomed!

“For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

“Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows:  for every one is a hypocrite and an evil-doer, and every mouth speaketh folly.  For all this his anger is not turned away but his hand is stretched out still.”   Isaiah 9:16,17

“Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

“And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters:  for I will pour their wickedness upon them.”  Jeremiah 14:15,16

“But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.”  Jeremiah 23:22

This was the curse for those of our forebears who were connected to evil and wickedness, and this is the curse for those of us who do likewise.  And I know of no greater chaos and confusion, loss of life, evil, and wickedness than to be a member of a group that does not acknowledge the Most High GOD of Israel to fear HIM and to keep HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments in Righteousness.

“Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind:  it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.

“The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart:  in the latter days ye shall consider it.”   Jeremiah 30:23,24

As I said before, I didn’t really get serious about worshipping YIHOVAH until I left the United States in 1967.  Since that time and under false leadership, I had many, many unpleasant encounters from being with people who did not fear the Most High GOD of Israel to keep HIS Law.  It would appear that being out of the land of our captors and leaving Ben’s Camp enabled me to have the mindset conducive to being serious about keeping GOD’s Law and being more receptive of a greater understanding of HIS Truth.  Indeed, for after I left Ben’s Camp, I knew what it meant to depend wholeheartedly on the Holy ONE of Israel with all my heart and soul and to make HIM my guide even unto this day.

Therefore, I urge everyone to fear the Holy ONE of Israel, be committed to keeping HIS Book of the Law, and seek to return to our heritage.  For sure, I know that most of you are afraid to leave your groups even though you know the leaders are not teaching GOD’s Righteousness.  I experienced the same apprehensions, but I feared the Holy ONE of Israel more for what HE would do to me or to my children if I did not obey HIM.  If it’s any consolation, I’ll share with you what YIHOVAH showed me, and I’ll never forget it:

“I, even I, am he that comforteth you:  who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;”   Isaiah 51:12

And since leaving this scandalous group, I have not regretted it for a moment.  I only wish I had done so earlier.  The peace of mind that followed my exit was sensational and, the LORD knows, much appreciated, as I have only HIM to thank for my making that decision to leave Ben Ammi’s congregation.

If we do not depart from false leadership… well, look at it this way.  GOD’s Promises to deal with false leaders and their followers will come to pass.  GOD does not lie.  HE didn’t lie about our being scattered into the four corners of the World, and HE won’t be found to lie about eliminating false leaders and their congregations, either – even for this day and time.

One of my greatest fears is being in a TORAH Hebrew Community in the land and having to deal with those in our midst who choose not to follow GOD’s Book of the Law.  To keep this thought from driving me absolutely batty, I have already told myself that I will not hesitate to leave this Community, also, if the leaders refuse to adhere to the teachings of the Prophet Moses.  I remind myself that I have done so in the past, and I can do so again.  Wise and intelligent Israelites do not repeat the sins of their forefathers!  We seek the “ancient paths” that Our GOD set forth before the days of Abraham, as both he and even Noah kept GOD’s Laws.

“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls…”   Jeremiah 6:16

The Holy ONE of Israel is doing much to cause HIS People to know the Truth and to return to HIM.  How do I know?!!!  I know because I am reiterating GOD’s Words that HE told to HIS Prophets.  I write in the Name of the Most High GOD of Israel and HIS Law and HIS Word to HIS Prophets.  I don’t add to or take from GOD’s Law or HIS Word.  This is exactly how our leaders should be conducting themselves – according to GOD’s Ways - otherwise, they are not sent by GOD.  Otherwise, they are not GOD’s True Servants.

Our greatest challenge is being strong, diligent, and circumspect about  hearing the Word of GOD and doing it in Righteousness.  Care even less about those who seek to do otherwise; let YIHOVAH BE YOUR FEAR AND YOUR GUIDE!  Let’s not jeopardize all the knowledge of the True GOD that we have attained.  Let’s nurture the wisdom and knowledge that we have been blessed to receive and understand, so that we can move on to another higher level in the knowledge of Our GOD and HIS Law, as there can be no growth in GOD’s Truth if we are not following HIS Book of the Law.

Among Hebrew Israelites, befriend those who fear and believe in the GOD of Israel and hope in HIS Mercy.  Make friends with Israelites who are strong to follow GOD’s Law as it is written, and alienate the wicked and those who you know flock with the enemy, i.e., those who defy GOD’s Law and who are like our forefathers who rejected it and followed the imaginations of their own hearts rather than GOD’s Paths of Righteousness.   This is common sense. Wouldn’t you agree?  Why take the chance of letting evil doers influence your thinking about GOD’s Righteousness and HIS Truth?

“I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes:  I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

“A forward heart shall depart from me:  I will not know a wicked person.

“Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me:  he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.”

Psalm 101:3,4,6

After all, first and foremost. our goal should be to please Our GOD and grow in unison and harmony in the understanding of HIS Law.

We look for TRUTH, and then the All-Mighty GOD permits us to find it.  We learn that it does not come without a price.  And what is the price?  Obey GOD’s Laws, Statutes, and Judgments and live in HIS Peace.  That’s all!  No surprises and no gimmicks.  Just that we should serve and worship ONE GOD, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and observe HIS Book of the Law.  We do 100 times more for the Gentiles who hold us captive, and we get no benefits – only much hard labor and despair are our returns:  misery, pain and endless suffering without mercy.  Our GOD does not ask for much only that we be a Righteous and Holy People to show forth HIS Praise and be a light to the World for HIS Holy Name’s Sake.  This is not too much to ask for assured peace and tranquility for ourselves and for our children.

“And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads:  they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”   Isaiah 35:10

So now, can we be as committed to Our GOD and HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments, as were Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, and King David???   Can we be in companionship with our fellow Brothers and Sisters in GOD’s Righteousness for HIS Holy Name’s Sake and for HIS Glory?  Of course we can.  It all depends on what we want for the future of the Nation of Israel and for this Hell’s Heaven of a World.

I, personally, want to see the whole entire World know and Worship the Holy ONE of Israel and keep HIS Law.  I want the GOD of Israel to reveal HIMSELF to the World, as he did to the Egyptians and the surrounding Nations in this vicinity.  I want the World to know that Our GOD is GOD All-Mighty and that there is none other!!!  And I want to worship My GOD in HIS Holy Temple in Jerusalem with my fellow Hebrew Israelites and the Strangers who seek to do likewise in Righteousness.  Yes, we can be committed to Our GOD and HIS Law in Truth.  We need only want to do so with all our heart and soul, and then Our GOD will help us the rest of the way.  I am a Witness!

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid:  for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.”   Isaiah 12:2

“Trust ye in the LORD for ever:  for in the LORD JEHOVAH is

everlasting strength:”

Isaiah 26:4

“Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd:  and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

”Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, booth young men and old together:  for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

“And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.”

Jeremiah 31:12 - 14

“And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.”

Jeremiah 30:22
