Hebrew Israelites and Atonement
A Message to Christians

"Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith YHWH"

"But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says YHWH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people..for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." Jer 31:31-34.

I give all praises to the Holy One of Israel for he is our Elohim. He has given us His WORD to guide us even in the land of our captivty. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path" Psalm 119:105.

How do Hebrew Israelites, the "seed" of the biblical Israelites scattered among the nations, receive atonement for our sins? Do we need JC of which Christianity teaches to receive atonement for our sins? Is it true as mentioned in Hebrews 9:22 that "without the shedding of blood there can be no remission of sins"? In this case JC's blood? Is it through JC's death that one can receive atonement of sins? How do Hebrew Israelites receive atonement if they do not believe JC 's death atoned for their sins and atoned for the sins of the world?

Christianity teaches that the "MOSIAC LAW" ( as if it was Moses' law) and not Torah ( instructions) from the Most High, that this LAW is no longer necessary as JC fullfilled the LAW making it unnecessay to follow the LAW and STATUES. Christians ask, how can we Hebrew Israelites claim to follow YHWH's LAWS and STATUES and not perform the animal sacrifices required under the LAW? How do we reconcile this and not keep the animal sacrifices mention in the books of Moses (Torah)that YHWH commanded Israel to do? How do Hebrew Israelites receive atonement if no blood is shed, even the blood of animals?

It is of paramount importance that we understand the nature of the LAW as it relates to "sacrifices offered"; how the nation of Israel received atonement under the LAW. More importantly, why Israelites today would not be obeying YHWH'S commandments if they even attempted to perform the animal sacrifices in captivity.

First, it should be pointed out that the writers of the "New Testament" completely distorted and grossly misrepresented the arrangement YHWH gave to the Nation of Yisrael. The premise is that the NT writings are an extention of THE WORD OF GOD given to the nation of Israel and it was a NEW Testament of JC. So therefore the validity of the NT ( it is assumed) rests on the Hebrew Scriptures (sometimes referred to as the OLD testament) of which the NT is susposedly based.

Whether this was a case of ignorance of the law by the greeks or deliberate, it is hard to be definite in this regard. My guess was that it was deliberate. But, regardless, this paper will show those distortions and misrepresentations and will prove beyond a shadow of doubt that JC did not and could not shed his blood for the atonement or forgiveness of sins for all of mankind and that the greek writers either fabricated their claims and purpertrated a fraud BIG TIME or were grossly ignorant of the Constitution of the Nation of Israel.

YHWH gave specific instructions to Israel on how they were to carry out the offering up of sacrifices to Him. YHWH had set aside the the tribe of Levi to be a priest to the nation. The entire nation including the Levites were unclean before him.

"And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying, Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them." Num 8:5,6.

"And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together. And thou shall bring the Levites before YHWH: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites: And Aaron shall offer the Levites before YHWH for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of YHWH." Num 8:9-11. (see also Ex 13: 2, 11-16)

The Levites had to cleanse themselves by washing themselves, their clothes and "shaving all their flesh" They were commanded to take and prepare both a "meat" offering and "sin" offering to make atonement first, for themselves. ( see vs 7 and 8)

"And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks and thou shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, unto YHWH, to make an atonement for the Levites. And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto YHWH. Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine." Num 8:12-14.

Thus Moses, and the children of Israel, as YHWH had commanded made an offering of the Levites of which YHWH set aside for a special service. The Levites were "Wholly" given to HIM representing the FIRSTBORN of the children Israel.

"For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself. And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel. And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary." Num 17-19

Here we see that it was ONLY the LEVITES that were to make atonement for the children of Israel. The Israelites were not commanded to make atonement for themselves. The atonement the Levites were to provide was as YHWH had said " that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary." We recall that YHWH brought 10 plagues upon Egypt the last being that every firstborn of Egypt would die, after which the Pharoah of Egypt allowed the Israelites to go. By this act YHWH SANCTIFIED THEM.

Exodus, chapters 28 through 30 gives the specific details on every aspect the sons of Aaron were required to do. These requirements dealt with the washing of feet and hands, special garments, the breastplates, coats, girdles, laws governing the entering of the tabernacle, the handling of the alter and burnt offerings on the alter day and night, the oil, the blood. Please read these chapters.(see also Lev 8: 1-20)

"And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I commanded thee:seven days shalt thou concecrate them. And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement:and thou shalt cleanse the alter, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it." Ex 29:35, 36.

In addition to making atonement for themselves and the alter itself, They were also to offer up atonement for the children of Israel. YHWH is HOLY and he wanted his CHOSEN HOLY. The provisions YHWH made for the Israelites to offer "sin," "burnt," drink, and meat offerings among others, was so that they would remain a HOLY people before him. If an Israelite made a vow or committed a sin in ignorance, an offer was to be made. This was so that the Israelites would be forgivin of the sin and remain HOLY before HIM. If an Israelite committed a "sin" and it was not in ignorance, they were to be "cut off" from among the congregation.

"And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the alter: I will sanctify both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their Elohim. And they shall know that I am YHWH their Elohim, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am YHWH their Elohim."Ex 44-46.

The nation of Israel because of not obeying the voice of YHWH to do his commandments, were scattered. YHWH had warned the Israelites that if they failed to follow all of his LAWS, STATUES COMMANDMENTS and JUDGEMENTS, they would be a cursed people until as such a time they would return to him with their whole soul, mind and heart. Israel continued on its course of disobediance and YHWH continued to bring other nations against Israel until they were cast to oblivion among the gentile nations.

The Book of Hebrews

The writer of the book of Hebrews in the "new testament", provides a good store line, but fabricated everything dealing with the Law. The first fabrication I will point out is the reference to JC being from the tribe of Judah, the line of David. Hebrews 7:14 says, "For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood." It is evident? The writer wants us to assume that it has been established as truth that JC was from the tribe of Judah right?. But was he?

Joseph, Mary's fiance, did not father JC, Mary was already with child as stated in Matt 1:18. She "was found with the Holy Ghost." However the geneology given in the earlier verses are that of Joseph. Why? Because the writer of Matthew knew that no where in the Old Testament does ancestry pass down through the mother but the father. He attempts to connect JC with the tribe of Judah through Joseph but vs 18 proves otherwise.

Even if Mary was of the tribe of Judah, the fact that the "Holy Ghost" inpregnated her would still not prove that JC "sprang out of Judah" for the mother does not pass on the ancestry and the "Holy Spirit" could not be from any earthly tribe of Judah. YHWH has no genealogy.

The other problem is that YHWH specifically said that DAVID'S SEED would sit on the throne of David. We know that Solomon was the seed of David, so therefore, all future kings would be of the genealogy of SOLOMON.

"Howbeit YHWH Elohim of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah [to be] the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make [me] king over all Israel:

And of all my sons, (for YHWH hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of YHWH over Israel.

And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him [to be] my son, and I will be his father.

Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day." I Chronicles 28:4-7

The Greek writings missed this and Luke's genealogy does not list Solomon but Nathan, another son of David and Matthew lists "Jeconiah" as an ancester of JC overlooking what the prophet Jeremiah had recorded concerning Jeconiah. (Je-coniah was another name for king Jehoiachin)

[Is] this man Coniah a despised broken idol? [is he] a vessel wherein [is] no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?

O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of YHWH.

Thus saith YHWH, Write ye this man childless, a man [that] shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah. Jer 22:28-30

"And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon: "And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel; Mat 1:1-12

I guess the writer of the book of Matthew X didnt do his home work or he would have never mentioned Jeconiah or Jechonias as if that spelling would fool us!!

Luke 1: 31-33 said that YHWH would givc JC the throne of his father David and that he would rule the house of Judah forever which we have proven is a lie as David was not JC's Father.

So we can see that the genealogies in both Matthew and Luke do not hold up to the truth contained in the Hebrew Scriptures but are fabricated genealogies none of which connect JC to David.

So now that we have proven scripturally that JC was not of the seed of David, we can see that Hebrews 7:14 where it says, "For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood." was also a distortion as it was not "evident." Now lets move on to the Atonement issue.

Hbr 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Hbr 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us].

Hbr 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of Elohim for us:

Hbr 9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; ( YOM KIPPUR)

This is a MAJOR BLUNDER the writer of the book of Hebrews makes. Christianity teaches that according to "the law of Moses," sin could only be atoned for by the shedding of innocent blood, that the death of JC was a fulfillment of the Law as a "sacrifice for sins, AND that the blood of JC was sprinkled on the Mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant IN THE HEAVENLY HOLY OF HOLIES.

Why is this a major distortion? Well. lets see.

Lev 16:14 And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle [it] with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

Lev 16:15 Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that [is] for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

Lev 16:16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy [place], because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins:...

The goat for YHWH (THE SIN OFFERING) was used to purify the sanctuary, the tent of meeting, and the altar from RITUAL IMPURITY that they had incurred either intentionally or unintentionally. The only sins atoned for were those related to ritural defilment of the sanctuary, tent of meeting, and the altar. The hands of the High Priest were not placed upon the head of the goat for YHWH nor were the sins of Israel confessed over it.

"And he shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Yisra'el, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins; and so he shall do for the Tent of Meeting, that dwells with them in the midst of their uncleanness" Lev 16.16

Also, Christians ignore that the goat for the nation of Yisrael of which the High Priest placed his hands and pronounces the sins of Israel on it, was sent away LIVE into the wilderness. This was not a ritual slaughter death with the sprinkling of blood designed to atone for sins. Once the goat was sent away it was to stay away! Blood sacrifice was not necessary to atone for the sins of the people. ( See also Lev 16:16-20)

Lev 16:20 And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy [place], and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:

Lev 16:21 And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send [him] away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

Lev 16:22 And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

So, lets recap. If JC as the NT teaches, entered into the Holy of Holies "by his own blood" and "offered himself" to "obtained eternal redemption," that is a complete fabrication because the High Priest only used the "blood" of the "sin offering" to make atonement for the Tabernacle! The blood of the "sin offering" did not make atonement for the children of Israel. The SCAPEGOAT was for that.

Lets back track for a moment and recall the "last supper." As we know the last supper susposedly concluded with JC and his disciples breaking bread and drinking wine. JC was claimed to have said that the bread represented his body that was broken for them and that the wine represented his blood that was shed for the sins of many. (Matt 26:26-28, See also Luke 22:19-20 and Mark 14-20-24)

What is interesting when one examines this closely, is that, in the case of the Law there were many other type of sacrifices besides a "sin offering". There was also guilt offerings, offerings of thanksgiving, offerings of purification, burnt offerings, tithe offerings to name a few. Even before the Tabernacle or "tent" was constructed, YHWH's people were allowed to offer sacrifices wherever they desired; but according to Leviticus 17 once the tabernacle was built, the nation had a central place to comune with the Most High. The children of Israel could no longer offer sacrifices wherever they wanted. ALL SACRIFICES HAD TO BE AT THE TABERNACLE AND LATER AT THE TEMPLE! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Lev 17:1 And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying,

Lev 17:2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This [is] the thing which YHWH hath commanded, saying,

Lev 17:3 What man soever [there be] of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth [it] out of the camp,

Lev 17:4 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto YHWH before the tabernacle of YHWH; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

Lev 17:5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto YHWH, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them [for] peace offerings unto YHWH. (Also see Leviticus 1:1-12)

The entire process had to be performed at the tabernacle:

Lev 1:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto YHWH, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, [even] of the herd, and of the flock.

Lev 1:3 If his offering [be] a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before YHWH.

Lev 1:4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

Lev 1:5 And he shall kill the bullock before YHWH: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that [is by] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

It is important for us to understand that most of the sacrifices for sin involved the blood being sprinkled AT THE BASE OF THE ALTAR or as Lev 1:5 says " round about the altar that "IS BY THE DOOR OF THE TABERNACLE." (caps mine). This would be in the "outer court" of the tabernacle not IN the "Holy of Holies". The blood of those animals was spilled, caught in a vessel and the blood applied appropriately at the altar in the outer court.

However, some of the sin offerings involved the blood of the animal being taken inside the tabernacle and sprinkled before YHWH. All of the other sacrifices were made outside in the outer court area of the tabernacle.

What about the meat?

The meat of the sacrificial animal was often shared between the person bringing the sacrifice and the priests performing the sacrifice. It was not complete and the benefit of the sacrifice accomplished until a meat portion of the sacrificial animal was eaten. However, there were exceptions to that general rule.

The meat of SIN OFFERINGS (the bullock for the Levites and the goat for the tabernacle) were exceptions to that rule, but only IF THE BLOOD HAD BEEN SPRINKLED BEFORE YHWH. NO ONE ate the meat of those sacrificial animals, not the High Priest not a regular priest, not an Yisraelite or anyone. It had to be completely burnt with fire.

Lev 6:30 And no sin offering, whereof [any] of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile [withal] in the holy [place], shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.

The problem with the greek or so-called New Testament is that it teaches as was quoted above in the book of Hebrews, that JC's blood was brought into the Holy Place and the Gospels claim JC's body was to be eaten (symbolicallly of course,) who it is claimed his death was a sacrifice for sin. Does anyone see a problem here?

Well, if you dont, I'll tell you. It was AGAINST the LAW for ANYONE to EAT the MEAT of a SIN OFFERING WHOS BLOOD WAS BROUGHT INTO THE HOLY PLACE!!

So if JC was telling his disciples to eat his flesh ( the sin offering), that certainly was not based on the LAW!

What does the NT say about JC's body and blood? What is recorded that JC was susposed to have said?

Jhn 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Jhn 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jhn 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Jhn 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Well, what can we say, my people? I do not need to quote the many scriptures that explicitly command NOT TO EAT BLOOD.

Conclusion:

JC was not sacrificed at the temple as required BY THE LAW. ALL sacrifices had to be performed at the tabernacle and according to the NT JC suffered outside of the camp.

Hbr 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

JC was not an "umblemished" sacrifice because the NT says he was scrourged and beaten.

He was not ritually slaughtered in the humane way commamded by YHWH of all sacrifices.

His body was not burned with fire as required by the law for meat of all sin offerings where the blood was sprinked in the Most Holy. He died on a cross or torture stake and his body put in a tomb.

His blood was not caught in a vessel as he was slaughtered and it was not applied to the altar.

His blood was not sprinkled 7 times in the Holy of Holies, unless we think that the blood from earthly man can enter in the heaven!

JC's blood could not have atoned for SIN as the SIN OFFERING OF THE MOST HOLY, ONLY PURIFIED AND MADE ATONEMENT FOR THE TABERNACLE/TEMPLE, TO CLEANSE IT, NOT THE PEOPLE. Lev 16:16

JC's death did not occur on the DAY OF ATONEMENT where the High Priest was to enter once a year IN THE SEVENTH MONTH ON THE TENTH DAY to offer up atonement for the Israelites for the sins of the entire nation. JC susposedly died ON PASSOVER in the Spring!!! This irregardless of the fact that the Passover Lamb was NOT A SIN OFFERING. It had nothing to do with Atonement. A better picture had the writers done their homework would have been to have JC die on Yom Kippur, which WAS a sacrifice for sin.

Do all of these inconsistances sound like a a "true figure" of the representation of the arrangement YHWH gave to the children of Yisrael to you?

What all of this means of course, is that the death of JC bears no resemblance in any fashion or form to the sacrifices required by the LAW, so therefore the "sacrifice" of JC was contrary to the LAW.

The doctrine of sin and atonement as taught by Christianity as espoused in the so-called New Testament, bears no resemblance to the LAW as taught to the children of Israel. The LAW prescribed 3 ways NOT ONE, for an individual to atone for sins, and they are: repentance, charity, and sacrifice. Blood sacrifices were NOT the only means of atonement for sin.

Lev 5:11 But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put [any] frankincense thereon: for it [is] a sin offering.

Lev 5:12 Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, [even] a memorial thereof, and burn [it] on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it [is] a sin offering.

Lev 5:13 And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and [the remnant] shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.

Christianity claims that the LAW taught that sin could only be atoned for by blood sacrifice. Therefore, according to Christainity, JC was the ultimate sacrifice for sins. However, the PREMISE WAS FALSE. The LAW NEVER taught that sin could be ONLY atoned for by the shedding of blood and the blood of the SIN OFFERING in THE MOST HOLY was not for the atonement of the SINS OF THE PEOPLE but atonement for the Most Holy, the altar and, tabernacle to cleanse it BECAUSE of the sins of the people. The SCAPEGOAT was for that. Therefore, since the premise was false, the conclusion is also false.

Deu 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish [ought] from it, that ye may keep the commandments of YHWH your Elohim which I command you.

Pro 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Like I said, the NT writers did not do there homework. But it sounded good! .

More importantly YHWH forbid HUMAN sacrifice!

What this also should awaken us to; is that since the nation of Yisrael had lost its soverignty as a nation and their land was now under the power of the gentiles, in this case the Romans, JC and the writers of the so-called New Testament should have known what the prophet Hosea had written centuries earlier:

Hsa 3:4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and [without] teraphim:

Hsa 3:5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek YHWH their Elohim, and David their king; and shall fear YHWH and his goodness in the latter days.

This is what makes the New Testament unfit and why it should not be used for spiritual enlightenment as it goes against the very words of YHWH.

The Prophecy of Hosea explicitly tells us that there would be no "sacrifices" until the latter days when Yisrael has returned and the "lost sheep of the house of Israel" had not returned during the time JC was said to have lived. The evidence is that those calling themselves "jews" in the time of the Romans were not Israelites from the "seed" of Jacob/Israel. ( See the article WHO WERE THOSE INFLUENTIAL AND AFFLUENT FOLKS CALLING THEMSELVES JEWS AND WORSHIPPING IN SYNOGOGUES AT THE TIME OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE?

So how then do Israelites still in the diaspora get forgivness of their sins?

A sin" from the hebrew perspective is simply the breaking of a law in this case THE LAW of which breaking that LAW we were scattered among the nations. So the process of forgiveness soley rests on our returning to THE LAW to DO IT as the NEW Covenant in Jeremiah 31: 31-34 says

Hosea goes on to say:

Hsa 14:1 O Israel, return unto YHWH thy Elohim; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

Hsa 14:2 Take with you words, and turn to YHWH: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive [us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

Hosea is saying as some translations state:

"Take words with you, and return to the LORD. Tell him, "Forgive all our sins, And accept that which is good: So we offer like bulls our lips (HSN).

And Solomon said the following:

2Ch 6:36 If they sin against thee, (for [there is] no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before [their] enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near;

2Ch 6:37 Yet [if] they bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt wickedly;

2Ch 6:38 If they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and [toward] the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name:

2Ch 6:39 Then hear thou from the heavens, [even] from thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have sinned against thee.

And again: 2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

A Day of Atonement

Of the seven Holy Days the nation of Yisrael are to observe they also include the "Day of Atonement" or "Yom Kippur," that occurs in the SEVENTH MONTH according to the Hebrew year which begins in the spring. This is where the High Priest enters into the Most Holy of which was entered into once each year on this High Holy Day. After offering up a sin sacrifice ( the 1st goat) and burnt sacrifice,(only for the Levites) sprinkling the altar with their blood, for the sanctuary and the sacrificing both of a bullock for himself and his household, and a scapegoat for the people, the whole house of Yisrael, the nation of Yisrael was made clean before YHWH.

YHWH commanded that we observe this SEVENTH MONTH AND TENTH DAY as a statue.

Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth [day] of this seventh month [there shall be] a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH.

Lev 23:28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it [is] a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before YHWH your Elohim.

Lev 23:29 For whatsoever soul [it be] that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

Lev 23:30 And whatsoever soul [it be] that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

Lev 23:31 Ye shall do no manner of work: [it shall be] a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Lev 23:32 It [shall be] unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth [day] of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

On this "day" is where the High Priest carried out all of the duties pertaining to this day.

Lev 16:27 And the bullock [for] the sin offering, and the goat [for] the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy [place], shall [one] carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.

Lev 16:28 And he that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

Lev 16:29 And [this] shall be a statute for ever unto you: [that] in the seventh month, on the tenth [day] of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, [whether it be] one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

Lev 16:30 For on that day shall [the priest] make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, [that] ye may be clean from all your sins before YHWH.

Lev 16:31 It [shall be] a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.

Lev 16:33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

Lev 16:34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as YHWH commanded Moses.

Hebrew Israelites in the diaspora OBSERVE this High Holy Day in its season even in the lands of captivity. We do not however attempt to offer up animals for sacrifice in foreign lands. No priest enters a temple in our behalf as the temple is yet to be rebuilt.

We do however, take this opportunity to call up on the name of YHWH in a special way to forgive us for our sins and the sins of our forefathers that resulted in our being scattered to gentile lands. We do this recalling what the Prophet Hosea wrote:

Hsa 3:4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and [without] teraphim:

Hsa 3:5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek YHWH their Elohim, and David their king; and shall fear YHWH and his goodness in the latter days.

And Isaiah

Isa 44:21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou [art] my servant: I have formed thee; thou [art] my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

Isa 44:22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

So as Hebrew Israelites scattered among the gentile nations, we receive forgiveness of our sins by doing the LAW, as this is how we sinned against the Holy One, by NOT doing the law. This is what is taught in the Hebrew Scriptures. We do not need nor do we look to the NT or JC as a sacrifice for forgiveness of sins because we realize that that is not taught in the Hebrew Scriptures. We realize that no man can die for the sins of another, that each ones bears their own sin, (Ezekiel 18:4) that our forefathers sinned against YHWH not JC as only YHWH can forgive sins committed against Him, and finally, because we the decendants today who return to do those laws, are in the NEW Covenant/Agreement.

"But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says YHWH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people.. for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." Jer 31:31-34.

"To the law (torah*) and to the testimony:(confirmation*) if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them". Isa 8:20
