5 Reasons to Suspect Jesus Never Existed

A GROWING NUMBER OF SCHOLARS ARE OPENLY QUESTIONING OR ACTIVELY ARGUING AGAINST WHETHER JESUS LIVED.

Most antiquities scholars think that the New Testament gospels are “mythologized history.”  In other words, based on the evidence available they think that around the start of the first century a controversial Jewish rabbi named Yeshua ben Yosef gathered a following and his life and teachings provided the seed that grew into Christianity. At the same time, these scholars acknowledge that many Bible stories like the virgin birth, miracles, resurrection, and women at the tomb borrow and  rework mythic themes that were common in the Ancient Near East, much the way that screenwriters base new movies on old familiar tropes or plot elements. In this view, a “historical Jesus” became mythologized.

For over 200 years, a wide ranging array of theologians and historians grounded in this perspective have analyzed ancient texts, both those that made it into the Bible and those that didn’t, in attempts to excavate the man behind the myth.  Several current or recent bestsellers take this approach, distilling the scholarship for a popular audience. Familiar titles include Zealot by Reza Aslan and   How Jesus Became God by Bart Ehrman

By contrast, other scholars believe that the gospel stories are actually “historicized mythology.”  In this view, those ancient mythic templates are themselves the kernel. They got filled in with names, places and other real world details as early sects of Jesus worship attempted to understand and defend the devotional traditions they had received.

The notion that Jesus never existed is a minority position.   Of course it is! says David Fitzgerald, the author of  Nailed: Ten Christian Myths That Show Jesus Never Existed at All.  Fitzgerald points out that for centuries all serious scholars of Christianity were Christians themselves, and modern secular scholars lean heavily on the groundwork that they laid in collecting, preserving, and analyzing ancient texts.  Even today most secular scholars come out of a religious background, and many operate by default under historical presumptions of their former faith.

Fitzgerald, who as his book title indicates takes the “mythical Jesus” position, is an atheist speaker and writer, popular with secular students and community groups. The internet phenomZeitgeist the Movie introduced millions to some of the mythic roots of Christianity. But Zeitgeist and similar works contain known errors and oversimplifications that undermine their credibility. Fitzgerald seeks to correct that by giving young people accessible information that is grounded in accountable scholarship.

More academic arguments in support of the Jesus Myth theory can be found in the writings of Richard Carrier and Robert Price. Carrier, who has a Ph.D. in ancient history, uses the tools of his trade to show, among other things, how Christianity might have gotten off the ground without a miracle. Price, by contrast, writes from the perspective of a theologian whose biblical scholarship ultimately formed the basis for his skepticism. It is interesting to note that some of the harshest critics of popular Jesus myth theories like those from Zeitgeist or Joseph Atwill (who argued that the Romans invented Jesus) are academic Mythicists like these.

The arguments on both sides of this question—mythologized history or historicized mythology—fill volumes, and if anything the debate seems to be heating up rather than resolving. Since many people, both Christian and not, find it surprising that this debate even exists—that serious scholars might think Jesus never existed—here are some of the key points that keep the doubts alive:

1. No first century secular evidence whatsoever exists to support the actuality of Yeshua ben Yosef.

In the words of Bart Ehrman (who himself believes the stories were built on a historical kernel):

“What sorts of things do pagan authors from the time of Jesus have to say about him? Nothing. As odd as it may seem, there is no mention of Jesus at all by any of his pagan contemporaries. There are no birth records, no trial transcripts, no death certificates; there are no expressions of interest, no heated slanders, no passing references – nothing. In fact, if we broaden our field of concern to the years after his death – even if we include the entire first century of the Common Era – there is not so much as a solitary reference to Jesus in any non-Christian, non-Jewish source of any kind. I should stress that we do have a large number of documents from the time – the writings of poets, philosophers, historians, scientists, and government officials, for example, not to mention the large collection of surviving inscriptions on stone and private letters and legal documents on papyrus. In none of this vast array of surviving writings is Jesus’ name ever so much as mentioned.” (pp. 56-57)

 2. The earliest New Testament writers seem ignorant of the details of Jesus’ life, which become more crystalized in later texts.

Paul seems unaware of any virgin birth, for example. No wise men, no star in the east, no miracles. Historians have long puzzled over the “Silence of Paul” on the most basic biographical facts and teachings of Jesus. Paul fails to cite Jesus’ authority precisely when it would make his case. What’s more, he never calls the twelve apostles Jesus’ disciples; in fact, he never says Jesus HAD disciples –or a ministry, or did miracles, or gave teachings. He virtually refuses to disclose any other biographical detail, and the few cryptic hints he offers aren’t just vague, but contradict the gospels. The leaders of the early Christian movement in Jerusalem like Peter and James are supposedly Jesus’ own followers and family; but Paul dismisses them as nobodies and repeatedly opposes them for not being true Christians!

Liberal theologian Marcus Borg suggests that people read the books of the New Testament in chronological order to see how early Christianity unfolded.

Placing the Gospels after Paul makes it clear that as written documents they are not the source of early Christianity but its product. The Gospel — the good news — of and about Jesus existed before the Gospels. They are the products of early Christian communities several decades after Jesus’ historical life and tell us how those communities saw his significance in their historical context.

3. Even the New Testament stories don’t claim to be first-hand accounts.

We now know that the four gospels were assigned the names of the apostles Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, not written by them. To make matter sketchier, the name designations happened sometime in second century, around 100 years or more after Christianity supposedly began.

For a variety of reasons, the practice of pseudonymous writing was common at the time and many contemporary documents are “signed” by famous figures.  The same is true of the New Testament epistles except for a handful of letters from Paul (6 out of 13) which are broadly thought to be genuine.  But even the gospel stories don’t actually say, “I was there.” Rather, they claim the existence of other witnesses, a phenomenon familiar to anyone who has heard the phrase, my aunt knew someone who . . . .

4. The gospels, our only accounts of a historical Jesus, contradict each other.

If you think you know the Jesus story pretty well, I suggest that you pause at this point to test yourself with the 20 question quiz at ExChristian.net.

The gospel of Mark is thought to be the earliest existing “life of Jesus,” and linguistic analysis suggests that Luke and Matthew both simply reworked Mark and added their own corrections and new material. But they contradict each other and, to an even greater degree contradict the much later gospel of John, because they were written with different objectives for different audiences. The incompatible Easter stories offer one example of how much the stories disagree.

5. Modern scholars who claim to have uncovered the real historical Jesus depict wildly different persons.

They include a cynic philosopher, charismatic Hasid, liberal Pharisee, conservative rabbi, Zealot revolutionary, nonviolent pacifist to borrow from a much longer list assembled by Price. In his words (pp. 15-16), “The historical Jesus (if there was one) might well have been a messianic king, or a progressive Pharisee, or a Galilean shaman, or a magus, or a Hellenistic sage.  But he cannot very well have been all of them at the same time.”   John Dominic Crossan of the Jesus Seminar grumbles that “the stunning diversity is an academic embarrassment.”

Jesus appears to be an effect, not a cause, of Christianity. Paul and the rest of the first generation of Christians searched the Septuagint translation of Hebrew scriptures to create a Mystery Faith for the Jews, complete with pagan rituals like a Lord’s Supper, Gnostic terms in his letters, and a personal savior god to rival those in their neighbors’ longstanding Egyptian, Persian, Hellenistic and Roman traditions.

In a soon-to-be-released follow up to Nailed, entitled Jesus: Mything in ActionFitzgerald argues that the many competing versions proposed by secular scholars are just as problematic as any “Jesus of Faith:”

Even if one accepts that there was a real Jesus of Nazareth, the question has little practical meaning: Regardless of whether or not a first century rabbi called Yeshua ben Yosef lived, the “historical Jesus” figures so patiently excavated and re-assembled by secular scholars are themselves fictions.

We may never know for certain what put Christian history in motion. Only time (or perhaps time travel) will tell.

THE JEALOUS CREATOR GOD

SET HIS HALLOWED SABBATH AND OTHER HOLY DAYS

FOR PRAISE AND WORSHIP OF ONLY HIM

<>

AND HE ONLY HAS DISDAIN

FOR WORSHIP OF ALL OTHER DEITIES AND PAGAN HOLIDAYS

Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God

in the place which the LORD shall choose:

because the LORD thy God shall bless thee

in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands,

therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God

in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread,

and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles:

and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
Every man shall give as he is able,

according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.

Deuteronomy 16:15 - 17

IT WOULD BE BLASPHEMY TO WORSHIP ANOTHER DEITY

IN THE HOLY CITY JERUSALEM

THAT THE JEALOUS CREATOR GOD OF ISRAEL

ESTABLISHED FOR HIS GLORY!

For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD,

whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

Exodus 34:14

Someone asked me why GOD would want people sacrificing animals to HIM.  That person is an animal lover, as am I.  And for sure when we return back to our Divine culture I will have my favorite ewe and might have to sacrifice it, as well.  Nevertheless, I explained to this person that GOD is the CREATOR of all things, including the animals HE specifically designated for sacrifice unto HIM (only sheep, goats, and oxen).  Thus, if HE Commands us to sacrifice these animals to HIM then this is not only what we must do, but we must realize that HE has a reason for ordering sacrifices unto HIM.

GOD LOVES SACRIFICE BECAUSE THESE BURNT OFFERINGS

PUT THE SPOTLIGHT ON HIM

Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD's house. And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.   II Chronicles 7:1 – 3

And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down. And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name: And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed. And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time. And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water. And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.   I Kings 18:30 - 39

to him shall ye do sacrifice

But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice. And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.] And the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods. But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.   II Kings 17:36 - 39

Since GOD scattered the Children of Israel from HIS Land for rejecting HIM and HIS LAW, the descendants of the Biblical Israelites have lived in Gentile environments for millennia and only know the customs of “heathens” and their religions, and as a result descendants of Slaves have little or no knowledge of GOD’s Righteous Book of the Law and that which HE desires of HIS People due to the false worship the “heathen” has used to brainwash them (GOD’s Elect).

And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.   Ezekiel 20:26

And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.   Deuteronomy 28:64

I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:

Nevertheless, GOD’s Walk of Life still stands and is not hidden from us but is in the Hebrew Scriptures under “Thus Saith the LORD” and presented by Moses and perpetuated by HIS other Prophets in the “Old Testament”.

“And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.   Deuteronomy 32:26,46,47

And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.   Ezekiel 11:12

I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.   Ezekiel 23:30

And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.   Ezekiel 36:19

Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.   Jeremiah 10:1 - 3

Upon learning of GOD’s Truth, we have to accept the fact that the CREATOR GOD of Israel uses sacrifice to call attention to HIMSELF, so that we keep worship and PRAISE of HIM in our hearts on a daily basis.

Therefore, it is imperative for all mankind to worship and serve GOD according to HIS Counsel, Standards, and Guidelines.  Reason being is that all these religions invented by heathenish nations are of no relevance to the CREATOR GOD.  In other words, if the way mankind worships is not what the CREATOR has endorsed, then we are not only following pagan beliefs, but we could not be further from worshipping and serving the True and Living GOD.

The CREATOR GOD established HIS own Ministers, Prophets, and Angels to represent HIM, and HE Commanded that acknowledgement of HIM be made every single day of the week, on HIS Holy Seventh Day Sabbath, on the New Moons, and on HIS Holy Days.

“…it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.   Ezekiel 45:17

EVERY SINGLE EVENING AND MORNING ARE FOR CONTINUOUS DAILY WORSHIP, RECOGNITION, AND REMEMBRANCE OF THE MOST HIGH GOD OF ISRAEL!

The CREATOR GOD established HIS own Covenant People - the Nation of Israel for HIS Priests/Ministers, Prophets, and Angels that HE selected to represent HIM.  And HE Commanded that acknowledgement of HIM be made every single day of the week, on HIS Holy  Seventh Day Sabbath, New Moons, and on HIS Holy Days:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season. And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the LORD; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering. The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even; And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil. It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD. And the drink offering thereof shall be the fourth part of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the LORD for a drink offering. And the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meat offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt offer it, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.   Numbers 28:1 - 8

And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof: This is the burnt offering of every sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.   Numbers 28:9,10

And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;  And three tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one ram; And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD. And their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third part of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth part of an hin unto a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year. And one kid of the goats for a sin offering unto the LORD shall be offered, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.   Numbers 28:11 – 15

And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD.   II Chronicles 30:21

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.   Psalm 35:27,28

“…I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols: I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.   Ezekiel 20:18 - 20

“…it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.   Isaiah 66:23

In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.   Psalm 44:8

Although the CREATOR GOD enjoys sacrifice unto HIM, we cannot do so until HE returns to HIS Holy Place in Jerusalem, until HIS Ministers the Priests are in place to administer these sacrifices, and until the Righteous Remnant returns ready to FEAR the GOD of Israel and WORSHIP ONLY HIM!

FOR THE FIVE (5) HOLY DAYS THAT GOD COMMANDED WE OBSERVE, PLEASE SEE LEVITICUS 23RD CHAPTER.  THESE HOLY DAYS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

-       Passover (Seven days)

-       The Feast of Weeks (Strictly an observance for observing in the Land of Israel)

These days are the Holy Days scheduled for the fall season of the year:

-       The Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets

-       The Day of Atonement

-       The Feast of Tabernacles (Eight Days)

The GOD of Israel ordered and ordained these observances and Holy Days of worship, to keep the existence of HIM and HIS WONDROUS WORKS in the hearts of HIS People, Israel, and so that in worshipping HIM in Righteousness, they would prosper and would not worship any other gods.

Sadly, Clergymen do not make GOD’s Holy Days known to their congregations.  They actually dismiss GOD’s Statutes in order that the Christian ways of worship might be implemented as required for parishioners, which is to worship JC and to observe holidays that pertain to him (Christmas and Easter), attend church every Sunday and even during the week.  But who initiated these Christian ways of worship?  They certainly do not stem from GOD’s required Laws, Statutes, and Judgments that HE Commanded to be kept forever.  For good reason the Church does not make available information regarding GOD’s Chosen Ministers and that which HE Commands us to do.  Never once did the CREATOR GOD give the writers of the “New Testament” visions for what HE wanted them to do or visions of HIS Counsel, as HE did with HIS Prophets whom HE sent daily to HIS Covenant People.

Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:   Jeremiah 7:25

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God;   Ezekiel 20:5

“…among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.   Hosea 5:9

The men of the Roman Era made their own religion and their own Christian edicts simply because they wanted a “God of Love” and One who did not Judge the wicked. Thus, the writers of the “New Testament” knew well what they had to do, which was change GOD’s Ordinances.  If GOD’s LAW and HIS Holy Days are not mentioned or observed in Christianity, then obviously it is because clergymen want knowledge of GOD’s Observances and HIS requirements hidden from the parishioners.

GOD’s evil prophets and the writers of the “New Testament”

have changed HIS LAW and HIS WORD

But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

“And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.   Jeremiah 23:22,36

“Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”   Psalm 33:8 – 12

However, the GOD of Israel wanted to prove HIS People to determine whether they would “Keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not” (Judges 2:22).  The writers of the “New Testament” should have known from what’s written that the CREATOR GOD was not going to change HIS Ordinances.

“The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.”   Isaiah 24:4,5

GOD’s LAW, which is in fact complete and “Perfect” is a WAY OF LIFE that sustains us a RIGHTEOUS People in the Eyes of Our GOD of Israel.  Thus, there is no need for the “New Testament” “Gospel” that is written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Paul’s letters (epistles).  So, if all GOD’s WAYS are “GOOD” and “Perfect”, why would HE revoke them and instead have people believe in a man-god for Salvation?  Where is GOD’s “SALVATION” in that?  And why would the JEALOUS GOD have the people HE Created trusting in anyone but HIM?

“…the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.   Psalm 37:39

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.   Nahum 1:7

Christians who know something is wrong with their religion should wonder why the writers of the “Gospel” did not write about that which is right in GOD’s Eyes:  HIS LAW and Cleaving to HIM and living and doing HIS Commandments.  Kings David and Hezekiah did.

Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign. Twenty and five years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Abi, the daughter of Zachariah. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father did. He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan. He trusted in the LORD God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him. For he clave to the LORD, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses. And the LORD was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth…   II Kings 18:1,3 – 7

Is not this what the “New Testament” writers should have done, i.e., follow the LAW and Commandments that GOD gave to Moses (Exodus 24:12).  All GOD-fearing men clave to GOD and lived according to GOD’s Ways of Righteousness and taught it to their children as they were required to do.

But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of you this day. Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;   Deuteronomy 4:4 – 9

At some point we must all start seeking GOD’s TRUTH on our own and not allow others to teach and preach to us what they believe.  Following what Thus Saith the LORD, as it is written, is the easiest way of all to learn about GOD’s expectations for us because when GOD sees us seeking HIM to follow and obey HIS LAW, HE opens our eyes and brings us out of Darkness.

Never has the Beloved GOD of Israel ever suggested that a man die for people’s sins, and HE certainly has never rewarded “GOOD” for SINNERS but rather punishment for DISOBEDIENCE.  The FLOOD of Noah’s day proves that!  And worship of the Christian man-god or any other god other than the JEALOUS CREATOR GOD has enraged the Most High on countless occasions.  And this unfounded belief that JC will forgive people for their sins if they will believe in him is not only unheard of, but is absolutely ridiculous.  If this were the case, people could steal, commit fraud, heinous crimes, murder, commit adultery, etc., etc. and just admit to belief in this man-god, JC, and obtain forgiveness and salvation.

Let’s be real!  Will the WISE, JUST, and RIGHTEOUS CREATOR GOD establish such a religious concept as this, or would HE want the people on HIS Earth to represent HIM and HIS ideals of morality, virtue, and honesty so that people will live in HIS World of Peace and Happiness and of PRAISE for ONLY HIM?   Makes sense, right?

Yet people reject the fact that the CREATOR GOD established HIS LAWS for a RIGHTEOUS WALK of LIFE that is specifically in place to deter sin, transgression, evil, wickedness, and above all, worship of another god.  Christianity and its belief in a man-god has not stopped people from sinning, but on the contrary has enticed the greatest sins and abominations ever imagined against the JEALOUS GOD, and above all that would include rejection of HIS WAYS of Righteousness and forsaking HIM for the worship of other gods.

Given all of GOD’s LAW and HIS WORD in the Hebrew Scriptures, Christians have to realize that they worship a false god and follow a religion and the celebrations of the “heathen” who hold us captive.  And none of which is ordained by the CREATOR GOD or acceptable to HIM.  Those of us whom the Merciful GOD has made the wiser by understanding HIS LAW and WORD to HIS Prophets know better.

“I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries; Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.”   Ezekiel 20:23,24

“Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel. And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity. Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.…I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.  But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:  They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.

“And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.”   Ezekiel 44:9 – 16,23,24

Our hearts are fixed on the CREATOR GOD, Our MAKER, and we will not be moved from HIS Ways and from the Holy Days that EXALT HIM and show forth HIS PRAISE.  Israelite affinity is to ONE GOD - The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-Israel - and to HIS Book of the Law.

Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.   II Kings 17:13

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

“The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.  Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”   Psalm 46:1 - 3,6 - 11

Even though we are scattered among the heathen let us take GOD’s Holy Days seriously and observe them, as HE has Commanded of us.  The CREATOR is Our MAKER, and HE is due ALL the GLORY and the PRAISE from us every single day that HE sustains our lives upon this Earth.  Sadly, this Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets that is upon us finds us in the lands of our Captors and in troubled times.  That being a given, let’s be humbled and CALL UPON OUR SAVIOR GOD of Israel to gather us and return us to our heritage where we may offer sweet savors, sacrifices, and offerings unto HIM from HIS Holy City Jerusalem.

To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

Psalm 102:21

Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

Psalm 135:21

Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes

sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses,

they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem:

and this city shall remain forever.
And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem,

and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains,

and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.

Jeremiah 17:25,26

LET THE FACTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES

AND LET THE FACTS

BE THAT OF THE WORD OF GOD - THUS SAITH THE LORD!

They say still unto them that despise me,

The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace;

and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart,

No evil shall come upon you.
For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD,

and hath perceived and heard his word?

who hath marked his word, and heard it?

Jeremiah 23:17,18

Even though the CREATOR GOD has made it quite clear that HE ALONE is GOD, that there is none else, and that we should worship no other god, people still choose to worship the JC, man-god that was contrived and imagined via the customs and beliefs of the peoples of the Roman Era.

If GOD said, “Thou shalt worship no other god…,” then that would mean “no other god” – not a son, not an idol, and not any image but rather “no other god”.  Does man have the authority to change that which the CREATOR GOD has set in stone and Counseled?

O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. spoken it.

“And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
   Isaiah 25:1,9

My people ask counsel at their stocks [IDOLS], and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.   Hosea 4:12

And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels. And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.   hosea 11:6.7

Man can obviously write an elaborate tale about a virgin birth and say that the man-child is the “Son of God” exactly as he has done.  However, these are things that GOD never even suggested, much less declared as HIS TRUTH.  But just because one can contrive a wishful and aspiring fairytale does not make it real.  Nevertheless, man’s philosophy and impassioned creativity has invented the “New Testament”, and two billion Christians have embraced it hook, line and sinker and shoved the CREATOR GOD of Abraham and Moses and HIS Book of the Law under the rug.

Christians use several passages in the “Old Testament” to cite prophecy of the so-called “Coming of JC”.  But they are all without substance and without GOD’s WORD to substantiate the claim of a “Son of God” who is supposed to be “God and Saviour and the holy ghost” of the World” (the Trinity).

Moreover, there are countless documents and books that either question the existence of JC, or prove that he never existed, and that he is nothing more than a complete fabrication.   One need only know what “Thus Saith the LORD” to fully comprehend that the works of the “New Testament” and Christianity contradict the WORD of GOD and in no way follow GOD’s Laws, Statutes, and Judgments.   You see, by following GOD’s LAW, one lives in GOD’s Righteousness!

“…who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it? Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked. The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

“But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
   Jeremiah 23:18 – 20,22

If GOD Created the Heavens and the Earth, then worship HIM for HE is Our MAKER.  If the LORD be GOD, then follow HIM.  If the GOD of Israel punishes the wicked and curses those who reject HIM and HIS Book of the Law, then Fear HIM to worship HIM according to HIS Ways of Righteousness.

Seek and search out the GOD’s TRUTH for of a certainty, it exists and awaits all who thirst for it.  GOD’s WORD has been hidden, not because it was in a cave or buried under a rock, but because the rulers of this world have deceived people and enticed GOD’s Elect (the Children of Israel) to conform to their Gentile ways and their doctrines that sustain their world order and their superiority.  They have set up their religious doctrines and have endorsed and enabled any and all man-made religions that keep people walking backwards.  However, the CREATOR GOD is opening the eyes of all who seek HIM and who desire to know HIS Ways of Righteousness.

Be aware that HIS Ways cannot be found in the “New Testament” for this Christian book espouses to an unfounded “Gospel” that the CREATOR GOD never once endorsed or mentioned.

You can’t find the WORD OF THE LORD in the “New Testament”.  In these books of the “Gospel” one finds the words of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Paul, and, unfortunately, they have nothing to do with what “Thus Saith the LORD”.  The WORD of GOD is proclaimed at the mouth of HIS Prophets.  And believe it or not, there were no prophets at the time of the advent of Christianity.  Malachi marks the end of GOD’s Prophets, and that was around 432 B.C.E.  However, the Most High GOD did say that HE would send us HIS Pastors upon our return.  And HE also said to remember HIS LAW and that Elijah would return – NOT JC!

Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say,

Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD;

and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you:

for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.
Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God,

and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree,

and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD;

for I am married unto you:

and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
And I will give you pastors according to mine heart,

which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Jeremiah 3:12 – 15

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land,

not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water,

but of hearing the words of the LORD:”

Amos 8:11

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant,

which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet

before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Malachi 4:4,5

WE DO NOT NEED JC!

The Slavers who enticed the Slaves to adopt Christianity led our forebears to believe that a White, blue-eyed “Saviour” would come and deliver them out of enslavement.  Yet, unto this day, that so-called “Saviour” has not come, and the oppression continues.  Neither has the CREATOR come to SAVE and DELVER the House of Israel either because Israelites fail to understand that until we turn to HIM with our whole heart and soul, HE will not hear our cries.

The CREATOR GOD has always existed for those who Fear HIM to live according to HIS Righteous Book of the Law.  And though we are still in captivity, our burden is lessened, and HE keeps us out of harm’s way.  Moreover, when we seek the CREATOR GOD, we find HIM, and HE hears our cries.  And it behooves all peoples to call upon HIM and ask to be shown the “TRUTH”.

O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.  O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.   Psalm 34:3 – 9,15 – 17,19

For good reason the CREATOR GOD wants Israelites and all Peoples to Call upon HIM and worship ONLY HIM.  For good reason the CREATOR GOD published the First Commandment.  And for good reason the CREATOR GOD said to live and do HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments.  This CREATOR GOD that established this Perfect Universe and all things therein, wants all the PRAISE and GLORY, for it was HE that accomplished all these WONDROUS WORKS and the Righteous Way of Life HE set for the peoples HE Created.

CALL ON ME!

Thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob…thou hast been weary of me, O Israel”

Isaiah 43:22

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth:

for I am God, and there is none else.”

Isaiah 45:22

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me,

and I will hearken unto you.”

Jeremiah 29:12

Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations,

and declare it in the isles afar off, and say,

He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him,

as a shepherd doth his flock.
For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob,

and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

Jeremiah 31:10,11

Praise ye the LORD.

Praise ye the LORD from the heavens:

praise him in the heights.

Praise ye him, all his angels:

praise ye him, all his hosts.

Praise ye him, sun and moon:

praise him, all ye stars of light.

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

Psalm 148:1 – 5

It does not take a genius to explain to us that the CREATOR GOD is bringing this wicked World Order as we know it (that’s in the hands of Gentiles) to an END.  And the reason is that it makes sense that the CREATOR of this Universe would want all the GLORY, and indeed, it is HIS RIGHT to Command it.  It also makes sense that the CREATOR of this Universe would want to replenish this Earth in order that it be returned back to the GOOD EARTH HE formed in The BEGINNNG.

I am the LORD: that is my name:

and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Behold, the former things are come to pass,

and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Isaiah 42:8,9

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth:

for I am God, and there is none else.
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness,

and shall not return,

That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Isaiah 45:22,23

The CREATOR does not ask much of us, and if living according to HIS Walk of Life keeps us safe and promises The SEED of Israel’s return to our heritage, then let us Call upon HIM and Worship HIM and PRAISE HIM on the days HE designated for HIS Worship (Leviticus 23rd Chapter).  And for HIS Holy Name’s Sake, LET US BE OBEDIENT and follow HIS Ways of Righteousness.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,

The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you:

this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Exodus 3:15

IS IT

HATRED

DISDAIN

ANGER

OR

ALL OF THE ABOVE

THAT I HAVE FOR THE WICKED PEOPLE

WHO TAKE CONTROL OF GOD’s LAND?

“…strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul:

they have not set God before them. Selah.

Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.”

Psalm 54:3 – 5

“They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation;

that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

“Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.”

Psalm 83:4,12

“Let them be confounded and troubled for ever;

yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

That men may know that thou,

whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.”

Psalm 83:17,18

The Israelis and their ilk are a different breed than all the peoples upon the face of the Earth.  Their weapons and arrogance give them courage and outlandish audacity to take on the Most High CREATOR GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-Israel.

European so-called “Jews”, have taken total control of GOD’s Holy Land; they have made themselves so-called LevitIcal Ministers of the True and Living GOD; they determine who can reside in the Land of Israel and who cannot.  Moreover, they convert Gentiles to their man-made religion “Judaism” and according to their Rabbinical standards and tenets these people can officially and legally become “Jews” and even priests/Cohenim (pl.). In essence, Israelis have usurped not only GOD’s Land, but they have also usurped the name of the Children of Israel, HIS Covenant People.  No manner of submersion or conversion can make a Gentile a descendant of Israel.  Neither Israelis nor any other people will impersonate the SEED of Jacob and get away with it.  There will be consequences.

The GOD of Israel is the ONE that will call home HIS People and that will cleanse their blood (Joel 3:21).  And it is by HIS Commandment that Gentiles CANNOT be kings, prophets, priests, or nobles of the Nation of Israel - all leaders and dignitaries must proceed from the lineage of the Children of Israel, and GOD’s LAW must be ONE ORDINANCE for all.

Esau tried his hand at taking GOD’s Land and removing the Israelites, but his plan backfired on him when other mightier nations contrived the same idea and removed him, as well.

“I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.  Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there:  Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.  And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.”   Ezekiel 35:9 - 12

“Thus saith the Lord God; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:  Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:  Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.  Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.”   Ezekiel 36:2 – 7

“In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.  But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.  Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;  Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.  For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.  For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.”   Obadiah 1:11 - 16

Even Gaza, the territory of the Philistines, had a hand in removing the Israelites from the Land, but today, they are paying the consequences for this endeavor.  And so also will the Israelis and all those who are joined unto them.  Since before the days of Ezra and Nehemiah, Europeans waited patiently for the GOD of Israel to execute HIS disastrous Judgments upon the Children of Israel for forsaking HIM and HIS LAW.  Usurpers watched for the opportune time to take their shot, and during the Greek Empire, when GOD enabled White Nations and their heathenish ways to control this World Order, they conquered GOD’s Land.

“The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the Lord, as in the day of a solemn feast.  The Lord hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.  Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the Lord.”   Lamentations 2:7 – 9

And from that day unto this, the Strangers in the Land have been without peace and happiness and certainly without “Milk and Honey” – only destruction, war, death, mayhem, and constant unrest for all who occupy the Land of Israel.

“Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:  But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:  And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord God.”   Amos 1:6 - 8

True enough, Israelites must accept the fate the GOD of Israel cast upon us for the abominations of our forefathers who preferred to worship other gods.  However, because the CREATOR GOD of Israel is a Most Merciful GOD and because HE made a PROMISE to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that their SEED would inherit the Land of Canaan, HE is awaking the “Dry Bones” (Ezekiel 37th Chapter) and opening our eyes to HIS Truth and to our true identity bringing an end to the works of the Gentiles who used the Slave Trade and Christianity to keep us in gross darkness.

Also, let me be clear that the turmoil, mayhem, and death and destruction happening in Israel are the WORKS of the True owner of the Land of Israel, and these are HIS first steps to making Gentiles know that HE is the True and Living GOD of this Land, and that HE and the Righteous Remnant of Israel are at hand to come.

“Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord:  Thus saith the Lord God; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:  Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:  Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.  Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.  But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.”   Ezekiel 36:1 – 8

So, do I hate the usurpers of GOD’s Land who have profaned HIS Holy Name, distorted and tampered with HIS Book of the Law, and sustained evil and wickedness in the Land that the CREATOR gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-Israel?  Yea, I hate them with “perfect hatred”!

“Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee?

and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.”

Psalm 139:19 – 22

Thus Saith the LORD, Book Two

I am more that delighted to announce the publication of my second book:  Thus Saith the LORD, Book Two.

This book goes into greater detail focusing even more on the Righteous Laws, Statutes, and Judgments of the CREATOR GOD, HIS WORD regarding these “Latter Days”, HIS WRATH upon the evil and wicked of this world, the gathering and recovery of HIS Covenant People, the SEED of Jacob, and the re-establishment of HIS Holy Temple that will again be founded in HIS Holy City Jerusalem in order that every knee will bow to HIM.

As you may know, nothing gives me greater pleasure than writing about our CREATOR, the GOD of Israel, the ONE GOD of the Hebrew Israelites, that chose Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And writing about HIS TRUTH keeps me in prayer and in hopes and thoughts about Israel’s RETURN.  No matter how much I write about this AWESOME CREATOR GOD of Moses, I never feel like I have done HIM justice.  And no matter how much I write, I feel I cannot write enough to prove HIS OMNIPOTENCE for HIS WONDERS, AUTHORITY, and JUDGMENTS that HE exhibits and executes.  Nevertheless, I continue to try.  Reason being HIS WORKS are impressive and terrifying and are destined to cause trembling in the hearts of all peoples – Gentiles and Israelites alike who Fear HIM to do HIS WILL.

I tried my best to keep the price as low as possible.  There are two copies:  “Black and White” and “Color”:

Kindle:  $ 20.00

“Black and White”:  $ 30.00

“Color”: $100.00

THE SOAPBOX SPEAKS:

THE INVASION OF ISIS

There is much to be learned about ISIL, the Arabian group the United States and the rest of the world calls terrorists.  Don’t get me wrong.  I am not a Muslim and much less seeking to join with them.  However, I do understand their plight.

The United States and their allies have bombed these people to Hell on lies about “weapons of mass destruction”, have murdered innocent members of wedding parties in Afghanistan, and have refused to say “sorry”, and have demolished and razed what infrastructure this country has.  How can one nation bomb another and think that sometime down the line that there will not be consequences?  The US and its allies act as though they are brain dead.  Gone are the days when the Ghetto people and the poor exploited nations will quietly suffer abuse at the hands of Super Powers.  One way or another, the CREATOR will avenge tormented souls who pray for FREEDOM and GENUINE PEACE.

The oppressed may be complacent, but they do not forget their afflictions all because the ruling nations won’t let them; they just keep pushing them to extremes and even madness.  Long-term aggression spawns defense and attacks in one form or another.  For sure there will be repercussions for George W’s and Obama’s folly in the Middle East.   And, more importantly there will be GOD’s revenge for the Slave Trade of HIS Covenant People and for the White man’s prolongation of Third-World Nations and the misery in which these peoples have been made to live.  World Rulers have sustained impoverishment and have executed terrorism against others and terrorism will justly be their demise.  For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction (Newton).  And now, it is time for GOD to act to rid HIS Earth of the wickedness of the heathen who have strengthen the hands of evil doers.

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.   Isaiah 13:9 - 11

The oppressive Rulers of this vile World Order have put themselves in the place of GOD and have people believing that GOD is with them no matter their endeavor.  Well, given the floods, fires, and turmoil in their midst, nothing could be further from the truth.

Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?   Isaiah 14:9,10

LUCIFER IS NOT ANYONE IN GOD’S HEAVEN

(as the “New Testament” would have us believe)

BUT RATHER A METAPHOR FOR RULERS WHO ARE SO POWERFUL

THAT THEY PUT THEMSELVES IN THE PLACE OF GOD!

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
   Isaiah 14:12 – 17

Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD. I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.   Isaiah 14:21 - 23

The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.”
Jeremiah 23:20

Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans:

for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.
I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.
Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly,

that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me;

I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day,

the loss of children, and widowhood:

they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries,

and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me.

Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth:

and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off:

and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.

Isaiah 47:5 – 11

The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.”
Jeremiah 23:20

The CREATOR GOD is taking back HIS Universe, HIS Holy Land, and HIS Holy City Jerusalem, and will utterly destroy all nations who reject HIS Walk of a Righteous Life and stand in HIS Way.  That would mean all who impersonate GOD’s Covenant People, the Children of Israel, and who usurp HIS Holy Land are doomed to HIS Wrath.

PROSE / POETRY WITH A MESSAGE:

THE DAY OF ATONEMENT

IS FOR THE CONTRITE

AND FOR GOD’s FORGIVENESS

“For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment;

but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.”

Isaiah 54:7,8

“But I will leave a few men of them

from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence;

that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come;

and they shall know that I am the LORD.”

Ezekiel 12:16

From the Land of our captivity, I beseech YOU, LORD GOD of Israel.

Hear me, Father of Abraham,

Since your bringing our forefathers out of Egyptian captivity

The Children of Israel have not taken heed to THY WAYS of Righteousness.

But yet, YOU are a MERCIFUL GOD,

A GOD of Multiple MERCIES.

Forgive our forefathers,

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid.

I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD;

and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

Psalm 32:5,6

Father, there are no words to express the reasons for our abominations and sins against YOU.

Since the days YOU made a Covenant with Israel, we have not served YOU in TRUTH.

Israel has worshipped other gods and has turned against your LAW.

Forgive and strike Fear in our hearts

so that all Twelve Tribes might Fear YOU to OBEY the LAWS of Moses.

Be Merciful, O LORD GOD of Israel.

For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Psalm 51:3

We chose other gods and rejected your Walk of Life.

YOU scattered us into the hands of the heathen

That they might punish us for our sins against YOU.

For your PRAISE and GLORY awaken the “Dry Bones”, GOD of Abraham.

We acknowledge our sins against YOU and embrace your Laws of Righteousness.

Hear the prayers of all who seek your forgiveness, O GOD of Jacob.

We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.
Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.

Jeremiah 14:20,21

Though YOU cast us in the lands of our enemies to be the tail and they the head,

YOU have not forgotten that we are your Covenant People forever,

And for that reason, YOU lovingly still exist for your People, Israel.

Who seek to understand your TRUTH and seek  to return to YOU.

For your Holy Name’s Sake, save THY People, the Remnant of Israel,

O’ MIGHTY GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
The face of the LORD is against them that do evil,

to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;

and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”

Psalm 34:15 – 18

“And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD;

and great shall be the peace of thy children.
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression;

for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”

Isaiah 54:13,14,17

“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts:

and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God,

for he will abundantly pardon.”

READING FOR THE SOUL:

it shall be said in that day, Lo,

this is our God

we have waited for him

O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.
And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
   Isaiah Twenty-five

Gather my saints together unto me

those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice
 And

the heavens shall declare his righteousness

The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
   Psalm Fifty

Our fathers trusted in thee:

they trusted, and thou didst deliver them

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head saying,
He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.
All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
   Psalm Twenty-two

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever:

the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness

My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;
So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.
And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.
She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.
With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
   Psalm Forty-five

Let all the earth fear the LORD:

let all the inhabitants of the world

stand in awe of him

The LORD

bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Did the historical Jesus exist?

A growing number of scholars don’t think so

By John the Revelator

September 3, 2014

Most antiquities scholars think that the New Testament gospels are “mythologized history.” In other words, they think that around the start of the first century a controversial Jewish rabbi named Yeshua ben Yosef gathered a following and his life and teachings provided the seed that grew into Christianity.

For over 200 years, a wide ranging array of theologians and historians—most of them Christian—analyzed ancient texts, both those that made it into the Bible and those that didn’t, in attempts to excavate the man behind the myth. Several current or recent bestsellers take this approach, distilling the scholarship for a popular audience. Familiar titles include Zealot by Reza Aslan and How Jesus Became God by Bart Ehrman.

But other scholars believe that the gospel stories are actually “historicized mythology.” In this view, those ancient mythic templates are themselves the kernel. They got filled in with names, places and other real world details as early sects of Jesus worship attempted to understand and defend the devotional traditions they had received.

The notion that Jesus never existed is a minority position. Of course it is! says David Fitzgerald, author of Nailed: Ten Christian Myths That Show Jesus Never Existed at All . For centuries all serious scholars of Christianity were Christians themselves, and modern secular scholars lean heavily on the groundwork that they laid in collecting, preserving, and analyzing ancient texts. Even today most secular scholars come out of a religious background, and many operate by default under historical presumptions of their former faith.

Fitzgerald is an atheist speaker and writer, popular with secular students and community groups. The internet phenom, Zeitgeist the Movie introduced millions to some of the mythic roots of Christianity. But Zeitgeist and similar works contain known errors and oversimplifications that undermine their credibility. Fitzgerald seeks to correct that by giving young people interesting, accessible information that is grounded in accountable scholarship.

More academic arguments in support of the Jesus Myth theory can be found in the writings of Richard Carrier and Robert Price. Carrier, who has a Ph.D. in ancient history uses the tools of his trade to show, among other things, how Christianity might have gotten off the ground without a miracle. Price, by contrast, writes from the perspective of a theologian whose biblical scholarship ultimately formed the basis for his skepticism. It is interesting to note that some of the harshest debunkers of fringe Jesus myth theories like those from Zeitgeist or Joseph Atwill (who tries to argue that the Romans invented Jesus) are from serious Mythicists like Fitzgerald, Carrier and Price.

The arguments on both sides of this question—mythologized history or historicized mythology—fill volumes, and if anything the debate seems to be heating up rather than resolving. A growing number of scholars are openly questioning or actively arguing against Jesus’ historicity. Since many people, both Christian and not, find it surprising that this debate even exists—that credible scholars might think Jesus never existed—here are some of the key points that keep the doubts alive:

1. No first century secular evidence whatsoever exists to support the actuality of Yeshua ben Yosef. In the words of Bart Ehrman: “What sorts of things do pagan authors from the time of Jesus have to say about him?

“Placing the Gospels after Paul makes it clear that as written documents they are not the source of early Christianity but its product. The Gospel — the good news — of and about Jesus existed before the Gospels. They are the products of early Christian communities several decades after Jesus’ historical life and tell us how those communities saw his significance in their historical context.”

For David Fitzgerald, these issues and more lead to a conclusion that he finds inescapable:

Jesus appears to be an effect, not a cause, of Christianity. Paul and the rest of the first generation of Christians searched the Septuagint translation of Hebrew scriptures to create a Mystery Faith for the Jews, complete with pagan rituals like a Lord’s Supper, Gnostic terms in his letters, and a personal savior god to rival those in their neighbors’ longstanding Egyptian, Persian, Hellenistic and Roman traditions.

In a soon-to-be-released follow up to Nailed, entitled Jesus: Mything in Action, Fitzgerald argues that the many competing versions proposed by secular scholars are just as problematic as any “Jesus of Faith:” Even if one accepts that there was a real Jesus of Nazareth, the question has little practical meaning: Regardless of whether or not a first century rabbi called Yeshua ben Yosef lived, the “historical Jesus” figures so patiently excavated and re-assembled by secular scholars are themselves fictions.

We may never know for certain what put Christian history in motion. Only time (or perhaps time travel) will tell.

Ex-CIA contractor:

US aiding ex-Soviet states to attack Russia

US President Barack Obama's efforts in Estonia to form a coalition against Russia is a diversion and illustrates the height of hypocrisy,ť an American author and former CIA and NSA contractor says.

Steven D. Kelley made the comments after he was asked by Press TV about Obama’s statement in Estonia on Wednesday that the United States will not be intimidated by ISIL militants after the beheading of a second American journalist and will build a coalition to "degrade and destroy" the group.

Obama flew to Estonia as part of a 4-day European trip to hold talks with leaders of the NATO military alliance as tensions escalate between the West and Russia over the crisis in Ukraine.

The US president also announced plans to send military units and aircraft to the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to reassure those countries of their security amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

He (Obama) talks about forming a coalition to deal with the problem of ISIL while he is trying to form a coalition of former Soviet satellites to form a basis for the purpose of attacking Russia."

Obama is using the ISIL beheading of US journalist Steven Sotloff as a diversion from what he’s doing over there in the Baltics, Kelley told Press TV on Wednesday. This seems to be the height of hypocrisy.ť

He argued that the US president is attempting to form a coalition against Russia for its activities in Ukraine while people of eastern Ukraine are under attackť by the US, EU and NATO.

Some Western countries and the Kiev government accuse Moscow of having a hand in the crisis in eastern Ukraine where pro-Russian forces are engaged in fierce battles with government forces.

Russia denies the allegations.

Ebola outbreak: call to send in military to west Africa to help curb epidemic

Head of Médecins sans Frontičres says the world is 'losing the battle' as cases and deaths continue to surge

Military teams should be sent to west Africa immediately if there is to be any hope of controlling the Ebola epidemic, doctors on the frontline told the United Nations on Tuesday, painting a stark picture of health workers dying, patients left without care and infectious bodies lying in the streets.

The international president of Médecins sans Frontičres (MSF), Dr Joanne Liu, told member states that although alarm bells had been ringing for six months, the response had been too little, too late and no amount of vaccinations and new drugs would be able to prevent the escalating disaster.

"Six months into the worst Ebola epidemic in history, the world is losing the battle to contain it," Liu said.

"In west Africa, cases and deaths continue to surge," she said. "Riots are breaking out. Isolation centres are overwhelmed. Health workers on the frontline are becoming infected and are dying in shocking numbers.

"Others have fled in fear, leaving people without care for even the most common illnesses. Entire health systems have crumbled."

She said Ebola treatment centres had been reduced to places where people went to die alone.

"It is impossible to keep up with the sheer number of infected people pouring into facilities. In Sierra Leone, infectious bodies are rotting in the streets," she said. "Rather than building new Ebola care centres in Liberia, we are forced to build crematoria."

The World Health Organisation estimated last week that 20,000 people in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone have been infected over three months. Médecins sans Frontičres has doubled its staff of volunteer doctors in the region but is unable to cope.

The epidemic can be stopped, said Liu, but only if governments send in biohazard teams and equipment.

"Many of the member states represented here today have invested heavily in biological threat response," she said at the UN. "You have a political and humanitarian responsibility to immediately utilise these capabilities in Ebola-affected countries.

"To curb the epidemic, it is imperative that states immediately deploy civilian and military assets with expertise in biohazard containment. I call upon you to dispatch your disaster response teams, backed by the full weight of your logistical capabilities. This should be done in close collaboration with the affected countries. Without this deployment, we will never get the epidemic under control."

Money is no longer the main issue, according to MSF, and voluntary help is not enough. Skilled and well equipped teams are needed on the ground.

Governments should send in military and civilian experts who can increase the number of isolation centres and deploy mobile laboratories that can be used to diagnose more cases.

Military-style operations are required to establish dedicated air bridges to move personnel and equipment around west Africa and a regional network of field hospitals must be built to treat medical staff who are infected or suspected of being infected. About a tenth of the deaths have been among health workers.

"We must also address the collapse of state infrastructure," Liu said. "The health system in Liberia has collapsed. Pregnant women experiencing complications have nowhere to turn.

"Malaria and diarrhoea, easily preventable and treatable diseases, are killing people. Hospitals need to be reopened and newly created."

Lastly, she said, there must be a change of approach by affected countries. "Coercive measures, such as laws criminalising the failure to report suspected cases, and forced quarantines, are driving people underground.

"This is leading to the concealment of cases, and is pushing the sick away from health systems. These measures have only served to breed fear and unrest, rather than contain the virus."

Liu was speaking as nurses in Liberia went on strike for better pay and equipment to protect themselves from Ebola.

John Tugbeh, spokesman for the strikers at John F Kennedy hospital in Monrovia, said the nurses would not return to work until they are supplied with "personal protective equipment (PPEs)", the clothing that guards against infectious diseases.

"From the beginning of the Ebola outbreak we have not had any protective equipment to work with. As a result, so many doctors got infected by the virus. We have to stay home until we get the PPEs," he said.

The surgical section at John F Kennedy hospital is the only trauma referral centre in Liberia. The hospital closed temporarily in July owing to the infections and deaths of an unspecified number of health workers who had been treating Ebola patients.

"We need proper equipment to work with [and] we need better pay because we are going to risk our lives," Tugbeh said.

The UN has also warned of serious food shortages as a result of restrictions on movement in the Ebola-hit countries. "Access to food has become a pressing concern for many people in the three affected countries and their neighbours," said Bukar Tijani, the UN Food and Agricultural Organisation regional representative for Africa.

"With the main harvest now at risk and trade and movements of goods severely restricted, food insecurity is poised to intensify in the weeks and months to come."

A UK Government spokesman said: "Britain is working with agencies like the World Health Organisation and Médecins Sans Frontičres to prevent the spread of this deadly disease. A wide range of further options are under discussion to contain this outbreak."

Dr Paul Cosford, director of health protection at Public Health England, said: "We will continue to offer every support to the international efforts to contain and manage the Ebola outbreak led by the World Health Organisation, working closely with government colleagues, and partners including MSF and UNICEF."

Protesters erected the barricades to protect a sprawling tent camp on the central city's main square. Although the camp's size dwindled sharply after President Viktor Yanukovych fled the country in February and a new government came to power, a determined core of demonstrators remained in a show of suspicion of the new authorities. Some tents remained on Saturday. But Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko, who was one of the leaders of the protests against Yanukovych, was quoted by Ukrainian media as saying an agreement has been reached with the protest holdouts to restore free movement in the center. KIEV, Ukraine (AP) -- A Ukrainian official said Tuesday that Russian forces have been spotted in both of the major rebel-held cities in eastern Ukraine.

The claim by Col. Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for Ukraine's national security council, came as the country's defense minister said Ukraine's armed forces are expanding their strategy from just fighting separatist rebels to facing the Russian army in a war that could cost "tens of thousands" of lives.

Lysenko told reporters that Russian troops had been seen in the cities of Donetsk and Luhansk, as well as other locations throughout the east, but he did not give details and the claim could not be confirmed independently. Lysenko also said 15 servicemen had been killed over the previous day.

In Moscow, a Kremlin aide sharply criticized EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso for breaching confidentiality when he quoted President Vladimir Putin as saying Moscow could take over Kiev in two weeks, if it wished.

Yuri Ushakov, the Russian leader's foreign policy adviser, told reporters that Putin's statement was "taken out of context and carried a completely different meaning."

Ushakov lashed out at Barroso, saying it was a breach of diplomatic practices and "unworthy of a serious politician" to speak publicly about a private conversation.

Several European publications earlier this week cited diplomats quoting Barroso as saying that Putin had said in a private conversation that Russian forces could take over Ukraine's capital in two weeks' time, if they wished.

Putin's comment reportedly came in response to Barroso pointing out Ukrainian and Western claims that Russia had sharply escalated the conflict in eastern Ukraine by sending regular army units into Ukraine. NATO has estimated that at least 1,000 Russian soldiers have entered Ukraine, helping turn the tide in favor of pro-Russian insurgents.

Ushakov on Tuesday reaffirmed Moscow's denial that it has sent any soldiers in, even though a rebel leader said last week that Russian servicemen on official leave were among some 4,000 Russians fighting in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Heletey said on his Facebook page Monday that the counter-insurgency operation is over and the nation's military is now facing the Russian army in a war that could cost "tens of thousands" of lives.

"This is our Great Patriotic War," he wrote, using the local terminology for World War II.

Russia's Foreign Ministry dismissed Heletey's remarks as "shocking" and accused him of making the statement in a bid to shift blame and keep his seat amid a series of defeats suffered by the Ukrainian military.

Pro-Russian rebels have been fighting Ukrainian government troops since mid-April in a conflict that has left more than 2,500 people dead. In recent weeks, the rebels have scored significant gains on the ground, launching an offensive along the coast of the Sea of Azov.

Efforts to negotiate a peaceful settlement to the hostilities, which followed the ouster of Ukraine's pro-Russian president and Russia's annexation of Crimea, have failed.

Representatives of Ukraine, Russia, pro-Russian rebels and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe made another attempt to reach an accord Monday in Minsk, the Belarusian capital. Rebels presented a negotiating platform that dropped their previous demand for full independence and expressed readiness to negotiate a settlement that would respect Ukraine's territorial integrity in exchange for a broad autonomy for eastern provinces.

The talks lasted several hours and were adjourned until Friday, when the parties are expected to discuss specifics of a possible cease-fire and a prisoners' exchange.

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday urged the United States to use its influence in Ukraine to encourage efforts to reach a political settlement. "It's necessary to restrain the party of war in Kiev, and only the United States can do it," he said at a briefing.

How Ancient Trinitarian Gods Influenced Adoption of the Trinity

Many who believe in the Trinity are surprised, perhaps shocked, to learn that the idea of divine beings existing as trinities or triads long predated Christianity. Yet, as we will see, the evidence is abundantly documented.

Marie Sinclair, Countess of Caithness, in her 1876 book Old Truths in a New Light, states: "It is generally, although erroneously, supposed that the doctrine of the Trinity is of Christian origin. Nearly every nation of antiquity possessed a similar doctrine. [The early Catholic theologian] St. Jerome testifies unequivocally, 'All the ancient nations believed in the Trinity'" (p. 382).

Notice how the following quotes document belief in a divine trinity in many regions and religions of the ancient world.

Sumeria

"The universe was divided into three regions each of which became the domain of a god. Anu's share was the sky. The earth was given to Enlil. Ea became the ruler of the waters. Together they constituted the triad of the Great Gods" ( The Larousse Encyclopedia of Mythology, 1994, pp. 54-55)

Babylonia

"The ancient Babylonians recognised the doctrine of a trinity, or three persons in one god— as appears from a composite god with three heads forming part of their mythology, and the use of the equilateral triangle, also, as an emblem of such trinity in unity" (Thomas Dennis Rock, The Mystical Woman and the Cities of the Nations, 1867, pp. 22-23).

India

"The Puranas, one of the Hindoo Bibles of more than 3,000 years ago, contain the following passage: 'O ye three Lords! know that I recognize only one God. Inform me, therefore, which of you is the true divinity, that I may address to him alone my adorations.' The three gods, Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva [or Shiva], becoming manifest to him, replied, 'Learn, O devotee, that there is no real distinction between us. What to you appears such is only the semblance. The single being appears under three forms by the acts of creation, preservation, and destruction, but he is one.'

"Hence the triangle was adopted by all the ancient nations as a symbol of the Deity . . . Three was considered among all the pagan nations as the chief of the mystical numbers, because, as Aristotle remarks, it contains within itself a beginning, a middle, and an end. Hence we find it designating some of the attributes of almost all the pagan gods" (Sinclair, pp. 382-383).

Greece

"In the Fourth Century B.C. Aristotle wrote: 'All things are three, and thrice is all: and let us use this number in the worship of the gods; for, as the Pythagoreans say, everything and all things are bounded by threes, for the end, the middle and the beginning have this number in everything, and these compose the number of the Trinity'" (Arthur Weigall, Paganism in Our Christianity, 1928, pp. 197-198).

Egypt

"The Hymn to Amun decreed that 'No god came into being before him (Amun)' and that 'All gods are three: Amun, Re and Ptah, and there is no second to them. Hidden is his name as Amon, he is Re in face, and his body is Ptah.' . . . This is a statement of trinity, the three chief gods of Egypt subsumed into one of them, Amon. Clearly, the concept of organic unity within plurality got an extraordinary boost with this formulation. Theologically, in a crude form it came strikingly close to the later Christian form of plural Trinitarian monotheism" (Simson Najovits, Egypt, Trunk of the Tree, Vol. 2, 2004, pp. 83-84).

Other areas

Many other areas had their own divine trinities. In Greece they were Zeus, Poseidon and Adonis. The Phoenicians worshipped Ulomus, Ulosuros and Eliun. Rome worshipped Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto. In Germanic nations they were called Wodan, Thor and Fricco. Regarding the Celts, one source states, "The ancient heathen deities of the pagan Irish[,] Criosan, Biosena, and Seeva, or Sheeva, are doubtless the Creeshna [Krishna], Veeshnu [Vishnu], [or the all-inclusive] Brahma, and Seeva [Shiva], of the Hindoos" (Thomas Maurice, The History of Hindostan, Vol. 2, 1798, p. 171).

"The origin of the conception is entirely pagan"

Egyptologist Arthur Weigall, while himself a Trinitarian, summed up the influence of ancient beliefs on the adoption of the Trinity doctrine by the Catholic Church in the following excerpt from his previously cited book:

"It must not be forgotten that Jesus Christ never mentioned such a phenomenon [the Trinity], and nowhere in the New Testament does the word 'Trinity' appear. The idea was only adopted by the Church three hundred years after the death of our Lord; and the origin of the conception is entirely pagan . . .

"The ancient Egyptians, whose influence on early religious thought was profound, usually arranged their gods or goddesses in trinities: there was the trinity of Osiris, Isis, and Horus, the trinity of Amen, Mut, and Khonsu, the trinity of Khnum, Satis, and Anukis, and so forth . . .

"The early Christians, however, did not at first think of applying the idea to their own faith. They paid their devotions to God the Father and to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and they recognized the mysterious and undefined existence of the Holy Spirit; but there was no thought of these three being an actual Trinity, co-equal and united in One . . .

"The application of this old pagan conception of a Trinity to Christian theology was made possible by the recognition of the Holy Spirit as the required third 'Person,' co-equal with the other 'Persons' . . .

"The idea of the Spirit being co-equal with God was not generally recognised until the second half of the Fourth Century A.D. . . . In the year 381 the Council of Constantinople added to the earlier Nicene Creed a description of the Holy Spirit as 'the Lord, and giver of life, who proceedeth from the Father, who with the Father and Son together is worshipped and glorified.' . . .

"Thus, the Athanasian creed, which is a later composition but reflects the general conceptions of Athanasius [the 4th-century Trinitarian whose view eventually became official doctrine] and his school, formulated the conception of a co-equal Trinity wherein the Holy Spirit was the third 'Person'; and so it was made a dogma of the faith, and belief in the Three in One and One in Three became a paramount doctrine of Christianity, though not without terrible riots and bloodshed . . .

"Today a Christian thinker . . . has no wish to be precise about it, more especially since the definition is obviously pagan in origin and was not adopted by the Church until nearly three hundred years after Christ" (pp. 197-203).

James Bonwick summarized the story well on page 396 of his 1878 work Egyptian Belief and Modern Thought: "It is an undoubted fact that more or less all over the world the deities are in triads. This rule applies to eastern and western hemispheres, to north and south.

"Further, it is observed that, in some mystical way, the triad of three persons is one. The first is as the second or third, the second as first or third, the third as first or second; in fact, they are each other, one and the same individual being. The definition of Athanasius, who lived in Egypt, applies to the trinities of all heathen religions."

Allah gave the land of Israel to the Jews

Al Quds and other Arab media outlets published this amazing article this weekend:

Sheikh Ahmad Adwan, who introduces himself as a Muslim scholar who lives in Jordan, said on his personal Facebook page that there is no such thing as “Palestine” in the Koran. Allah has assigned the Holy Land to the Children of Israel until the Day of Judgment (Koran, Sura 5 – “The Sura of the Table”, Verse 21), and “We made the Children of Israel the inheritors (of the land)” (Koran, Sura 26 – “The Sura of the Poets”, Verse 59). "I say to those who distort their Lord’s book, the Koran: From where did you bring the name Palestine, you liars, you accursed, when Allah has already named it “The Holy Land” and bequeathed it to the Children of Israel until the Day of Judgment. There is no such thing as 'Palestine' in the Koran. Your demand for the Land of Israel is a falsehood and it constitutes an attack on the Koran, on the Jews and their land. Therefore you won’t succeed, and Allah will fail you and humiliate you, because Allah is the one who will protect them (i.e. the Jews).” The sheikh added: “The Palestinians are the killers of children, the elderly and women. They attack the Jews and then they use those (children, the elderly and women) as human shields and hide behind them, without mercy for their children as if they weren’t their own children, in order to tell the public opinion that the Jews intended to kill them. This is exactly what I saw with my own two eyes in the 70’s, when they attacked the Jordanian army, which sheltered and protected them. Instead of thanking it (the Jordanian army), they brought their children forward to (face) the Jordanian army, in order to make the world believe that the army kills their children. This is their habit and custom, their viciousness, their having hearts of stones towards their children, and their lying to public opinion, in order to get its support.”

It is worth mentioning, that the above mentioned sheikh visited Israel and met Jewish religious scholars. The “Israel in Arabic” site conducted an interview with him, in which he said that the reason for his openness towards the Jewish people “comes from my acknowledgment of their sovereignty on their land and my belief in the Koran, which told us and emphasized this in many places, like His (Allah’s) saying ”Oh People (i.e the Children of Israel), enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned unto you” (Koran, Sura 5 – “The Sura of the Table”, Verse 21), and His saying “We made the Children of Israel the inheritors (of the land)” (Koran, Sura 26 – “The Sura of the Poets”, Verse 59) and many other verses. He (Adwan) added: “(The Jews) are peaceful people who love peace, who are not hostile and are not aggressors, but if they are attacked, they defend themselves while causing as little damage to the attackers as possible. It is an honor for them that Allah has chosen them over the worlds – meaning over the people and the Jinns until the Day of Judgment. I made the reasons for Allah’s choice clear in my books and pamphlets. When Allah chose them, He didn’t do so out of politeness, and He wasn’t unjust other peoples, it is just that they (the Jews) deserved this.”

CLOSING SCRIPTURE THAT EXALTS THE CREATOR GOD OF ISRAEL:

“I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.”

Psalm 7:17

“O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider thy heavens,

the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels,

and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands;

thou hast put all things under his feet:
All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea,

and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!”

Psalm 8:1 - 9
