yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands;

and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

which I command thee, thou, and thy sons and thy son’s son,

all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

Hear therefore, Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee,

and that ye may increase mightily,

as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee,

in the land that floweth with milk and honey.”

Deuteronomy 6:1 – 3

“O Earth, Earth, Earth,

HEAR the WORD of the LORD.”

Jeremiah 22:29

“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness:

thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame?

How long will ye love vanity,

and seek after leasing? Selah.

But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself:

the Lord will hear when I call unto him.

Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.

There be many that say, Who will shew us any good?

Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

Thou hast put gladness in my heart,

more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:

for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:

Deuteronomy 6:4

Before you begin to read the article that follows please remember how the current conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians began:

On 12 June 2014, three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped in Gush Etzion, in the West Bank, as they were hitchhiking to their homes. The three teens were Naftali Fraenkel (16, from Nof Ayalon), Gilad Shaer (16, from Talmon), and Eyal Yifrah (19, from Elad).  The Israel Defense Forces initiated Operation Brother's Keeper in search of the three teenagers. As part of the operation, in the following 11 days Israel arrested around 350 Palestinians, including nearly all of Hamas' West Bank leaders. Five Palestinians were killed during the military operation.

On 15 June, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the teens had been kidnapped by Hamas, which Hamas denied. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas maintained that as of 22 June there was no evidence that Hamas was behind the kidnapping. Hamas denied any involvement in the kidnapping.

On 26 June, the Israel Security Agency released the identities of two Hamas suspects in the kidnapping. Both ISA and Palestinian authorities said that the two men have been missing since the night of the kidnapping, and the ISA stated that both had engaged in terrorism, been arrested, and served time in the past, and were considered suspects immediately after the kidnapping. A senior Palestinian intelligence official said off the record that their disappearance constituted clear evidence the two suspects have links with the abduction.

On 30 June, search teams found the bodies of the three missing teenagers in a field north-west of Hebron. They had apparently been killed shortly after their abduction. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed a tough response to the killings”.

Mohamed Abu Khdeir, a Palestinian teenager was kidnapped and murdered in a suspected revenge killing by Israeli extremists.

The following article taken from http://america.aljazeera.com details the huge killing advantage on the part of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

Israel Rejects Proposed Cease-fire as Gaza Civilian Death Toll Soars

July 25, 2014 9:00AM ET Updated 2:15PM ET from Al Jazeera and Reuters

Israel on Friday rejected proposals for a cease-fire in its deadly conflict with Hamas in the Gaza Strip and was reportedly pursuing changes to a deal that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry had brokered with regional proxies — including Turkey and Qatar — to put an end to the 18-day conflict that is threatening to spill over into the occupied West Bank.

With Israel and Hamas-led fighters setting seemingly irreconcilable terms for a truce that mediators hope will begin by the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr holiday next week, Kerry was working the phones from Egypt, while aides made clear his patience was limited.

Kerry's proposal called for a 7-day humanitarian halt to the conflict, while parties entered into intense negotiations to reach a mutually acceptable deal.

The urgency was spurred on Thursday by the killing of 15 people as they sheltered at a U.N.-run school in the northern Gaza Strip, which local officials blamed on Israeli shelling.

On Friday, Israeli strikes on 30 houses killed another 19 people, including the head of media operations for Hamas ally Islamic Jihad and his son.

Gaza officials put the number of Palestinian deaths in 18 days of conflict at 826, most of them civilians. More than 5000 have been injured. Thursday’s death toll of 115 made it among the deadliest days of the Israeli offensive.

In the occupied West Bank, where U.S.-backed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas governs in uneasy coordination with Israel, some 10,000 demonstrators marched in solidarity with Gaza overnight Thursday – a scale recalling mass revolts of the past. Protesters surged against an Israeli army checkpoint, throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails, and Palestinian medics said one was shot dead and 200 wounded when troops opened fire.

The next day, medics said five Palestinians were killed in separate incidents near the West Bank cities of Nablus and Hebron, including one shooting that witnesses blamed on an apparent Jewish settler.

On Friday, Israeli paramilitary police went on high alert for flare-ups at Jerusalem's most important mosque during prayers for the final stretch of the Ramadan Muslim holy month.

Yitzhak Aharonovitch, Israel's police minister and a member of the security cabinet, said he was shuttling between consultations on how to contain the rising hostilities.

"We have had a very difficult night," he told Israel's Army Radio. "I hope we can get through today all right."

Stopping the rockets

Israel said 35 of its soldiers have died in the Gaza ground invasion, whose aim, it says, is to destroy dozens of cross-border infiltration tunnels used by Hamas to threaten Israel’s southern villages and army bases. On Friday the Israel Defense Forces said that soldier Oron Shaul, whom Hamas' winged arm claimed to have captured earlier this week, was in fact killed in action in Gaza.

Three civilians have been killed in Israel by rocket and mortar attacks from Gaza — the kind of shelling that surged last month amid Hamas anger at a crackdown on its activists in the West Bank, prompting the July 8 launch of the Israeli offensive.

A flurry of long-range rocket launches on Friday set off sirens around Israel's capital of Tel Aviv, where witnesses reported several interceptions by the Iron Dome air defense system. A building was hit in the southern coastal town of Ashkelon, but there were no casualties.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was to convene his security cabinet on Friday to discuss a limited humanitarian truce under which Palestinian movement would be freed up to allow in aid and permit the dead and wounded to be recovered.

An Israeli official briefed on security cabinet discussions envisaged an initial seven-day halt to the fighting, during which the army would keep digging up tunnels on Gaza's eastern frontier.

"First Israel wants to hear Hamas' response to the [Kerry] proposals," the official said, on condition of anonymity.

Netanyahu has said any truce should lead to the eventual stripping of Gaza's rocket arsenals — something Hamas rules out.

"We must stop the rocket launches. How this is done — whether through occupying [Gaza] or broadening [the operation] or [international] guarantees or anything else — I have to see it with my own eyes," said Aharonovitch.

The rockets have sent Israelis regularly rushing to shelters and dented the economy despite the Iron Dome's high success rate.

A Hamas rocket intercepted near Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday prompted the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration to halt U.S. commercial flights to Israel's main international gateway. Some European carriers followed suit.

Jolted by the blow at the height of an already stagnant summer tourism season, Israel persuaded U.S. authorities to lift the flight ban on Thursday, after which the European aviation regulator removed its advisory against flying to Ben Gurion.

In the second such salvo in two days, Hamas said it fired three rockets at the airport on Friday, in an apparent bid to cripple operations there anew. There was no word of impacts at Ben Gurion, whose passenger hall emptied at the sound of sirens.

Massacre at a school

Like Israel, Hamas was biding its time in the truce talks. "There is nothing new yet regarding the efforts to achieve calm," Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said Friday.

Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal had on Wednesday voiced support for a humanitarian truce, but only if Israel eases restrictions on Gaza's 1.8 million people.

The group wants Egypt to open up its border with Gaza and has demanded that Israel release hundreds of prisoners rounded up in the West Bank last month after the kidnapping and killing of three Jewish teenagers.

Such concessions appear unlikely, however, as both Israel and Egypt consider Hamas a security threat.

One Cairo official said next week's Eid al-Fitr holiday, which concludes the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, was a possible date for a truce. But U.S. officials were circumspect on progress made by Kerry — whose mediation has involved Egypt, Turkey, Qatar and Abbas — since Washington, like Israel, won't deal directly with Hamas, which it considers a terrorist group.

"Secretary Kerry has been on the phone all morning, and he will remain in close touch with leaders in the region over the course of the morning as he continues work on achieving a cease-fire,” said a senior U.S. State Department official in Cairo, which has been Kerry’s base over the past four days as he has tried to bring about a temporary end to the conflict.

On Thursday, a U.S. official said that Kerry was seeking a way of bridging gaps between Israel and Hamas but would not stay in the region "for an indefinite amount of time."

More than 140,000 Palestinians have been displaced in Gaza by the fighting, many of them seeking shelter in buildings run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

A UNRWA spokesman said the agency tried in vain to arrange with Israel for an evacuation of civilians from the school in northern Beit Hanoun before it was shelled on Thursday.

Scores of crying people who had been living in the school ran with their children to a nearby hospital, where the wounded were being treated. Laila al-Shinbari, a woman who was at the school when it was hit, told Reuters that families had gathered in the courtyard expecting to be evacuated shortly in a Red Cross convoy.

"All of us sat in one place, when suddenly four shells landed on our heads ... Bodies were on the ground. [There was] blood and screams. My son is dead, and all my relatives are wounded, including my other kids," she said, weeping.

<><><> AUGUST 25,26,27, 2014  <><><>

“…ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger,

and for him that was born in the land.

Numbers 9:14

Give ear, O my people, to my law:

incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

“For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel,

which he commanded our fathers,

that they should make them known to their children:

That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:

That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God,

but keep his commandments:

Psalm 78:1,5 – 7

To the law and to the testimony:

if they speak not according to this word,

it is because there is no light in them.

Isaiah 8:20

July 22, 2014

The Christian religion by definition worships a man-god, and concerning that, there is no question.  The questions arise when Christians believe with all their heart that this man JC “is the end of the law”!

…Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

“…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.   Romans 10:4,9

Now, this verse could hold merit if it were what the CREATOR endorsed, but not under any circumstances is there anything written in GOD’s Book of HIS Law or in the Hebrew Scriptures that even suggests or parallels proposing an end to GOD’s Laws of Righteousness or that JC is a “saviour”.  Nor would the JEALOUS CREATOR GOD have the people HE Created confessing worship of a man.

“And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  Thou shalt have no other gods before me.  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;”   Exodus 20:1 - 5

Why do people suppose the CREATOR set in stone HIS First Commandment and HIS Paths of Righteousness?  HE did not go through the motions to instill HIS LAW in the hearts of the Children of Israel and in the hearts of the Strangers joined unto them for naught.  The CREATOR speedily advised the Israelites about how they should worship HIM, how to serve HIM, how to sustain cleanliness and virtue, and how to live in harmony with others.  An end to keeping GOD’s Divine Laws, Statutes, and Judgments of Righteousness spawns worship of other gods, would enable people to use GOD’s Holy Name to further corruption and greed, would defile GOD’s Holy Rest Day, would allow children to dishonor their parents, would permit killing, would invite adultery, stealing, and taking things that belong to others.  Are not peoples, nations, and tongues deemed “heathens” because of their lack of morals and dignity and barbaric acts?

Besides, where is GOD’s WORD proving that HE revoked HIS LAW with the likes of a man?  If no one can find where the CREATOR GOD initiated this change, then the “New Testament” Book is guilty of teaching and propagating a lie.

In view of GOD’s WORD regarding HIS Everlasting LAW, why do people embrace this “New Testament” Book, which has deceived the world with false testimonials?  Why won’t Christians weigh the facts rather than bolster worship of a man-god and the writings of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Paul and their evil imaginations about an unfounded “virgin birth” of a “savior of the world”?  Clergymen teach the Christian theology and NOT what Thus Saith the LORD.  Therefore, it is impossible for 2 billion people to know anything about GOD’s Righteous LAW that is designed to sustain Righteousness.

They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.  Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.”  Psalm 14:3,4

“I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.  Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord God.”   Ezekiel 22:30,31

People can only do “GOOD” and “make up the hedge” if they walk in the LIGHT of GOD’s LAW, which leads us in Righteousness.  Today, it’s the White Man’s religion, Christianity, that eats up GOD’s People and that has them and the world walking in darkness awaiting a “Second Coming” that follows a “First Coming” which is proved the epitome of confusion and established on the wicked ideology of the rulers of the Roman Empire.

By the way, unbeknownst to Christians, there is but one way we are deemed Righteous, and there is but one way we are “saved”!  That is by keeping GOD’s LAW – not by this unfounded so-called “Gospel” that is void of the LAW GOD gave to HIS Servant Moses to teach to HIS Covenant People the Children of Israel.

“…what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?   Deuteronomy 4:8

When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.  Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.   Ezekiel 18:26,27

Moreover, GOD Commands keeping HIS LAW for as long as we live on Earth.

These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the Lord God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.   Deuteronomy 12:1

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;   Deuteronomy 7:9

“…Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:   But the Lord, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice.  And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.   II Kings 17:35 - 37

Nevertheless, there is even greater evidence that the CREATOR GOD of this Earth will again implant HIS Righteous LAW in the hearts of those who turn to HIM.  Thus, observance of GOD’s LAW will never be replaced with the imaginations of men and will certainly not ever be obliterated.  There is undeniable evidence to make us know beyond a shadow of a doubt that GOD’s LAW is a LIGHT of EVERLASTING TRUTH to be lived as a Way of Life?  And there is Scripture to prove that GOD would never terminate that which is required and that which is HIS GOODNESS to sustain HIS Ways of Righteousness.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.  Exodus 24:12

All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers.  And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.   Deuteronomy 8:1 - 3

Under these circumstances Christians should be rallying to be taught these same Laws and Commandments, which are clearly written at the WORD of GOD and not at the word of man.

“…what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?   Deuteronomy 10:12,13

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”   Deuteronomy 30:19,20

When all Israel is come to appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.  Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:  And that their children, which have not known anything, may hear, and learn to fear the Lord your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.   Deuteronomy 31:11 – 13

“…Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.  For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.”   Deuteronomy 32:46,47

However, that is not all!  The CREATOR GOD has said that once HE returns HIS Chosen People back to the Land of Israel, HE will not only put HIS LAW in our hearts, but HE will also cleanse us of our sins.  In essence, if Our GOD of Israel will do all these things for us, then for what reason do we need JC?

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:  But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.   Jeremiah 31:31 – 34

And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.  And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.  Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God.  And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:  And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.   Ezekiel 20:34 – 38

I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.  Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.  And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.   Ezekiel 36:24 - 28

Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.   Ezekiel 37:23

The GOD of Israel and HIS Book of the Law is everything and should mean everything to us, just as it always was the whole while our forebears lived in the Land.  At every turn, Our GOD of Israel kept us posted by way of HIS Prophets about HIS every directive and warning regarding our rebelliousness.  And HE never slacked in doing so until HE became fed up with all our abominations and cast us out of HIS Land.

“…the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.  And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the Lord their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the Lord their God.”   Nehemiah 9:2,3

“Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless the Lord your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.  Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.  Thou art the Lord the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham;  And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous:”   Nehemiah 9:5 – 8

Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:  And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:”   Nehemiah 9:13,14

“after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou them in the land of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies;  And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.”   Nehemiah 9:28,29

“Howbeit thou art just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly:  Neither have our kings, our princes, our priests, nor our fathers, kept thy law, nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies, wherewith thou didst testify against them.”   Nehemiah 9:33,34

You see, Preachers keep Christians out of the Hebrew Scriptures (wherein is written “Thus Saith the LORD”).  Yeah, I know; they speak about Moses down in Egypt, Joshua fighting the battle of Jericho, Samson’s strength, and the Dry Bones and other stories.  But Christians do not speak of LIVING GOD’s LAW, HIS Judgments, and HIS designated Holy Days.   And they certainly do not give ALL the GLORY and the PRAISE to the CREATOR GOD and acknowledge all HIS WONDROUS WORKS for HIS Deliverances when the Israelites CALLED UPON HIM!  HIS GREAT WONDERS are minimized and the song, dance, and praise in the church are for the likes of a JC, man-god who has saved no one and who certainly has not brought peace on Earth.  If there is no war in which Christians are dying, there are policemen beating the Hell out of Christians, as well as killing them.  What other tragedies need to happen to prove to the world that JC is no “saviour”, and that we must all observe GOD’s LAW, and that we will suffer the consequences if we don’t?

Those who read GOD’s Book of the Law and the rest of the books containing “Thus Saith the LORD” are wise enough to know (from GOD’s interaction with HIS People) that the CREATOR has neither retracted HIS LAW nor changed it.  However, wisdom is to search for the CREATOR GOD and appeal to HIM to reveal the True Path that HE established for Israelites and for all nations and peoples to follow.  If we don’t obey the WORDS of Our CREATOR, then we can expect to remain in this heathenish Hell on Earth or die at the HANDS of the CREATOR GOD’s Judgments upon the wicked…again just as it was in the day of The FLOOD that ended the “great wickedness of man” (Isaiah 13:11)!  The only way to avoid GOD’s WRATH is to OBEY HIS WORD – not man’s, but GOD’s WORD and HIS “Perfect Law”!

“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.”   Psalm 19:7 - 11

What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.   Deuteronomy 12:32

Seek GOD’s TRUTH; seek HIS WORD, and seek answers at the mouth of HIS Prophets.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,

and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;

then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

II Chronicles 7:14

“…Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established;

believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

II Chronicles 20:20

Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.  All nations whom thou hast made

shall come and worship before thee, O Lord;

and shall glorify thy name.  For thou art great, and doest wondrous things:

thou art God alone.  Teach me thy way, O Lord;

I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

Psalm 86:9 - 11

“That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life;

and that thy days may be prolonged.  Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it;

that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily,

as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee,

in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul,

and with all thy might.  And these words, which I command thee this day,

shall be in thine heart:  And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children,

and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way,

and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

Deuteronomy 6:2 - 7

“…strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul:

they have not set God before them. Selah.

Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.”

Psalm 54:3 – 5

“They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation;

that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

“Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.”

Psalm 83:4,12

“Let them be confounded and troubled for ever;

yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

That men may know that thou,

whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.”

Psalm 83:17,18

The Israelis and their ilk are a different breed than all the peoples upon the face of the Earth.  Their weapons and arrogance give them courage and outlandish audacity to take on the Most High CREATOR GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-Israel.

European so-called “Jews”, have taken total control of GOD’s Holy Land; they have made themselves so-called LevitIcal Ministers of the True and Living GOD; they determine who can reside in the Land of Israel and who cannot.  Moreover, they convert Gentiles to their man-made religion “Judaism” and according to their Rabbinical standards and tenets these people can officially and legally become “Jews” and even priests/Cohenim (pl.). In essence, Israelis have usurped not only GOD’s Land, but they have also usurped the name of the Children of Israel, HIS Covenant People.  No manner of submersion or conversion can make a Gentile a descendant of Israel.  Neither Israelis nor any other people will impersonate the SEED of Jacob and get away with it.  There will be consequences.

The GOD of Israel is the ONE that will call home HIS People and that will cleanse their blood (Joel 3:21).  And it is by HIS Commandment that Gentiles CANNOT be kings, prophets, priests, or nobles of the Nation of Israel - all leaders and dignitaries must proceed from the lineage of the Children of Israel, and GOD’s LAW must be ONE ORDINANCE for all.

Esau tried his hand at taking GOD’s Land and removing the Israelites, but his plan backfired on him when other mightier nations contrived the same idea and removed him, as well.

“I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.  Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there:  Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.  And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.”   Ezekiel 35:9 - 12

“Thus saith the Lord God; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:  Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:  Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.  Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.”   Ezekiel 36:2 – 7

“In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.  But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.  Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;  Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.  For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.  For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.”   Obadiah 1:11 - 16

Even Gaza, the territory of the Philistines, had a hand in removing the Israelites from the Land, but today, they are paying the consequences for this endeavor.  And so also will the Israelis and all those who are joined unto them.  Since before the days of Ezra and Nehemiah, Europeans waited patiently for the GOD of Israel to execute HIS disastrous Judgments upon the Children of Israel for forsaking HIM and HIS LAW.  Usurpers watched for the opportune time to take their shot, and during the Greek Empire, when GOD enabled White Nations and their heathenish ways to control this World Order, they conquered GOD’s Land.

“The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the Lord, as in the day of a solemn feast.  The Lord hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.  Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the Lord.”   Lamentations 2:7 – 9

And from that day unto this, the Strangers in the Land have been without peace and happiness and certainly without “Milk and Honey” – only destruction, war, death, mayhem, and constant unrest for all who occupy the Land of Israel.

“Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:  But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:  And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord God.”   Amos 1:6 - 8

True enough, Israelites must accept the fate the GOD of Israel cast upon us for the abominations of our forefathers who preferred to worship other gods.  However, because the CREATOR GOD of Israel is a Most Merciful GOD and because HE made a PROMISE to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that their SEED would inherit the Land of Canaan, HE is awaking the “Dry Bones” (Ezekiel 37th Chapter) and opening our eyes to HIS Truth and to our true identity bringing an end to the works of the Gentiles who used the Slave Trade and Christianity to keep us in gross darkness.

Also, let me be clear that the turmoil, mayhem, and death and destruction happening in Israel are the WORKS of the True owner of the Land of Israel, and these are HIS first steps to making Gentiles know that HE is the True and Living GOD of this Land, and that HE and the Righteous Remnant of Israel are at hand to come.

“Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord:  Thus saith the Lord God; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:  Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:  Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.  Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.  But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.”   Ezekiel 36:1 – 8

So, do I hate the usurpers of GOD’s Land who have profaned HIS Holy Name, distorted and tampered with HIS Book of the Law, and sustained evil and wickedness in the Land that the CREATOR gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-Israel?  Yea, I hate them with “perfect hatred”!

“Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee?

and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.”

Psalm 139:19 – 22

Thus Saith the LORD, Book Two

I am more that delighted to announce the publication of my second book:  Thus Saith the LORD, Book Two.

This book goes into greater detail focusing even more on the Righteous Laws, Statutes, and Judgments of the CREATOR GOD, HIS WORD regarding these “Latter Days”, HIS WRATH upon the evil and wicked of this world, the gathering and recovery of HIS Covenant People, the SEED of Jacob, and the re-establishment of HIS Holy Temple that will again be founded in HIS Holy City Jerusalem in order that every knee will bow to HIM.

As you may know, nothing gives me greater pleasure than writing about our CREATOR, the GOD of Israel, the ONE GOD of the Hebrew Israelites, that chose Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And writing about HIS TRUTH keeps me in prayer and in hopes and thoughts about Israel’s RETURN.  No matter how much I write about this AWESOME CREATOR GOD of Moses, I never feel like I have done HIM justice.  And no matter how much I write, I feel I cannot write enough to prove HIS OMNIPOTENCE for HIS WONDERS, AUTHORITY, and JUDGMENTS that HE exhibits and executes.  Nevertheless, I continue to try.  Reason being HIS WORKS are impressive and terrifying and are destined to cause trembling in the hearts of all peoples – Gentiles and Israelites alike who Fear HIM to do HIS WILL.

I tried my best to keep the price as low as possible.  There are two copies:  “Black and White” and “Color”:

Kindle:  $ 20.00

“Black and White”:  $ 30.00

“Color”: $100.00

Thus Saith The LORD, Book Two: Religion, WORD of GOD, The Old Testament GOD, GOD of Abraham by Tziona Yisrael (Feb 4, 2014)

The Lord hath made known his salvation:

his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

Psalm 98:2

The person responsible for constructing King Solomon’s Temple in Brazil should be shaking in his boots rather than taking the glory for building it.  The GOD of Israel did not allow King David to build a Temple for HIM, so what makes Edir Macedo think that GOD would choose him, a man accused of one corrupt act after another, to construct anything for HIM.  But that’s not all.  Macedo’s efforts are not to exalt the CREATOR GOD of Israel but rather to increase belief in “evangelical faiths”, i.e., Christianity.   Macedo’s temple is called, “The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God”.

King Solomon’s Temple was not a church, and a hundred Menorahs and Israeli flags cannot make it of a Divine nature.  The genuine Temple of King Solomon was built unto GOD’s Holy Name, and the GOD of Israel chose it for sacrifice unto HIM.

Then said Solomon…

“…Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled that which he spake with his mouth to my father David, saying, Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:  But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.  Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the Lord God of Israel.  But the Lord said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:  Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.  The Lord therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised, and have built the house for the name of the Lord God of Israel.”   II Chronicles 6:1,4 - 10

“Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the Lord, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.  And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.”   II   Chronicles 7:11,12

Knowing how the JEALOUS GOD of Israel feels about worship of another god, I know for a fact that HE is not pleased with this $300 mil. structure that is built for the worship of a false god.

“…thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:   Numbers 34:14

Thus, this Brazilian temple is blasphemy, and nothing good can come of it.  The making of this temple defies the CREATOR GOD, and I would not be surprised if the Most High GOD of Hosts would cause an Earthquake to bring it all down.   The article states that “No one has reshaped Brazil’s religious landscape quite like Mr. Macedo.”  Well, once the CREATOR rids HIS Earth of corruption, deception, and all false worship, the landscape of this Earth will reflect GOD’s Holy Name, HIS Book of the Law, and total worship of HIM.   And just in case there is any doubt about GOD’s Holy Name, it is written in stone with indelible ink.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.   Exodus 3:15

Therefore, it would make no sense whatsoever for any structure involving the CREATOR GOD of Israel to be named in connection with a church, wherein only a man named JC is revered and worshipped.

Today, ethnic groups suffer tremendously.  Whites are not only against Blacks, but they are Hell bent against Hispanics and Palestinians, as well.  While Blacks are enduring the worst injustices known to man, Hispanic adults and children are raped and abused as they cross the US-Mexican border seeking employment in the United States.   And while Palestinians live in squalor they listen to and fear Israeli missiles exploding all around them destroying entire communities, and the nations of the world hesitate to speak out about the Arabian child that succumbs to death every hour in the Palestinian lands.  But on the other hand when hundreds of Europeans die in a plane crash the whole world mourns.

Woe unto the rulers of GOD’s Earth who have made it their business to sustain exploitation, impoverishment, and endless suffering throughout the world.  Once the oppressed call upon the CREATOR GOD of Israel, an awesome change will manifest all over the world, and HE will end the plagues of mourning and hopelessness.  Then HIS peace will be restored for HIS GLORY and for HIS Holy Name’s Sake.  And the White Man’s evil Empires of deception, gross injustices, and double standards will come to an end.

Once a week or once a day, somewhere in this heathen land of racism and wickedness a White Man is beating the Hell out of a Black woman, man, or teenager.  Once a week or once a day, somewhere in this heathen land of racism and wickedness a White Man is killing a woman, a man, or a teenager.  Yet, the oppressed and afflicted lay down, take the abuse, and accept their fate.  This is the behavior of gluttons for punishment.

True, there is no justice for Blacks in the lands of our enemies – lands of those who stole us from the coasts of Africa.  The hand we have been dealt is part and parcel of the curse upon us for the sins of our forefathers.  But know of a certainty, the only ones who suffer serious harm at the hands of our captors are the ones who worship and trust in the White Man’s blue-eyed god, JC, and not the CREATOR GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

This matter is a most serious problem for the Israelites and for all Black peoples who hope in and trust in a mere man, molten image, or wooden idol.  The Hebrew Scriptures of the “Old Testament” make it quite clear that there is but ONE GOD and HE wants all the GLORY.

I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.   Isaiah 42:8

Who would have thought that just by turning to the CREATOR and being OBEDIENT to HIS Book of the Law that we can come out of the clutches of captivity?  Well, given the WORD of GOD, it is true.

“…the Lord shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the Lord shall lead you.  And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.  But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.  When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;  (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.”   Deuteronomy 4:27 - 31

If thy people…sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;

Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:

Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,

And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:

For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:

That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.

For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord God.”   I Kings 8:44,46 - 53

We have another shot for TRUE SALVATION, and it will come to fruition by the HAND of the Most High GOD of Israel.

“And in that day thou shalt say,

O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me,

thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

And in that day shall ye say,

Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people,

make mention that his name is exalted.

Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion:

for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.”

“I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord,

thoughts of peace, and not of evil,

to give you an expected end.

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me,

and I will hearken unto you.

Jeremiah 29:11 - 14

I… have poured out my soul before the Lord

“Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:

And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the Lord of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, were there.

And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:

But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the Lord had shut up her womb.

And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the Lord had shut up her womb.

And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the Lord, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.

Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the Lord.

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli marked her mouth.

Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.

And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord.

Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.

Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her.

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord.

And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the Lord the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the Lord, and there abide for ever.

And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the Lord establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the Lord in Shiloh: and the child was young.

And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.

And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the Lord.

For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

Therefore also I have lent him to the Lord; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the Lord. And he worshipped the Lord there.”   I Samuel First Chapter

There is none holy as the Lord:

for there is none beside thee

“And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.

The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them.

He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”   I Samuel Second Chapter one – ten

Be strong, fear not:

behold, your God will come with vengeance

“The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”   Isaiah Chapter Thirty Five

For I am the Lord, I change not;

therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed

“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.

For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.

Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?

Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.”   Malachi Third Chapter

To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn…

And brought out Israel from among them:

for his mercy endureth for ever:

“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:

The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:

The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:

With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:

But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever:

Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:

And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.”   Psalm Chapter 136

Temple in Brazil Appeals to a Surge in Evangelicals

JULY 24, 2014

SÃO PAULO, Brazil — It occupies an entire block in this teeming megacity: a 10,000-seat rendition of Solomon’s Temple.

Towering in sharp relief against the graffiti-splattered tenements nearby, it beckons with monumental walls of stone imported from Israel and the flags of the dozens of countries where its owner, the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, is nourishing an evangelical Christian empire.

A helicopter landing pad will allow Edir Macedo, the 69-year-old media magnate who founded the Universal Church in a Rio de Janeiro funeral home in 1977, to drop in for sermons. The sprawling 11-story complex features other flourishes, too, like an oasis of olive trees similar to the garden of Gethsemane near Jerusalem, and more than 30 columns soaring toward the heavens.

“The Universal Church spared no expense,” said Rogério Araújo, the architect for the project, which is scheduled to be inaugurated on July 31. On a tour of the site, he added, “We sought to build a colossus, something that would make people stop and gaze, and that’s what we delivered.”

The replica of Solomon’s Temple, which took four years to build at a cost of about $300 million, captures the surging growth of evangelical faiths in Brazil. Although this country of 200 million people still has more Roman Catholics than any other nation, the number of evangelicals in Brazil climbed to 22 percent of the population in 2010 from 15 percent in 2000, according to census figures.

Large evangelical churches, particularly Pentecostal institutions like the Universal Church, are also wielding greater political clout across Brazil, reflecting a sizable evangelical voting bloc in Congress and the efforts of candidates across the political spectrum to appeal to evangelical voters in the presidential elections this year.

Brazil’s leftist president, Dilma Rousseff, is expected to be here for the inauguration of the temple, underscoring how she draws support for her governing coalition from a bloc of conservative evangelical leaders, including Mr. Macedo’s nephew, Marcelo Crivella, a Universal Church pastor and gospel singer who until recently was the minister of fishing.

No one has reshaped Brazil’s religious landscape quite like Mr. Macedo. A religious broadcaster and founder of the church, Mr. Macedo now travels by private jet on a special diplomatic passport (a privilege also allowed in Brazil for high-ranking Vatican officials), espousing prosperity theology and Pentecostal tenets like exorcism and faith healing.

With a personal fortune sometimes estimated at $1.2 billion, Mr. Macedo rose from obscurity through his control of Rede Record, one of Brazil’s largest television networks, and his aggressive expansion of the Universal Church, during which he has fought accusations of corruption, including tax evasion and money laundering.

Mr. Macedo was jailed for 11 days in 1992 on accusations of charlatanism and fraud. He has successfully fended off other criminal investigations, including allegations by prosecutors that he and other church leaders siphoned off donations from followers to enrich themselves. In the past year, he has cultivated a somewhat wizardly appearance, growing a flowing gray beard while occasionally donning what appears to be a skullcap like those worn by many observant Jews.

The replica of Solomon’s Temple includes several menorahs inside the structure, where sermons will be given, in addition to a large menorah near the entrance that resembles the one in front of the Knesset, Israel’s legislature. The flag of Israel also flies nearby, alongside those of the Universal Church, Brazil and the United States, among dozens of other countries.

“There is just one biblical faith; it is impossible to disassociate Christianity from its Jewish roots,” said Cássia Duarte, a spokeswoman for the Universal Church. She emphasized that Mr. Macedo had been absolved in an array of judicial investigations into corruption allegations, strengthening the church’s “preaching of the gospel.”

Scholars say that the Universal Church’s promotion of Jewish symbolism in its replica of Solomon’s Temple stems from a quest for historical legitimacy in a church that is just 37 years old. The original Solomon’s Temple is thought to have been constructed in ancient Jerusalem by King Solomon around 1000 B.C. and destroyed about four centuries later in a siege led by a Babylonian king.

Macedo was a pioneer in seeing symbols and rituals connected to the Old Testament and Judaism as linchpins in the creation of a church capable of capturing hearts and minds,” said Rodrigo Franklin de Sousa, a specialist in biblical history at Mackenzie University in São Paulo.

So far, leaders in Brazil’s Jewish community have generally taken a relaxed approach to the new Solomon’s Temple. “On the one hand, there’s the favorable way in which Jewish culture and history are treated in the structure,” said Nilton Bonder, a Brazilian rabbi whose writings on spiritual themes are widely published. “On the other, there’s the bizarre aspect of the project’s dimensions and aggressive marketing.”

The temple will be one of Brazil’s largest religious structures, making the iconic Christ the Redeemer overlooking Rio de Janeiro, which is only about half as tall, look like a trinket in comparison.

“The monumental temple will be a powerful symbol both of Brazil as the epicenter of global Pentecostalism and of the Universal Church as the leading congregation challenging the Catholic Church in Brazil,” said R. Andrew Chesnut, an expert on Latin American religions at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The project is already rallying support among some Universal Church worshipers. “I get thrilled just by seeing the temple in a photograph,” said Mauricea dos Santos Ribeiro, 72, a retired bank employee who frequents a branch of the church in Rio de Janeiro. She said that a group from her congregation was planning a trip here to see the temple. “I’m counting the days until we go.”

As if emphasizing Brazil’s competitive religious landscape, the temple dwarfs two other churches located just across the street, one Catholic and the other operated by another Pentecostal group.

While the Universal Church projects its influence through Mr. Macedo’s television network and its web of operations in more than 100 countries, including about 60,000 worshipers in the United States, the institution faces important rivals in Brazil that have adopted similar expansion strategies.

Ricardo Mariano, a sociologist at the University of São Paulo, said that the Universal Church recently lost some ground in Brazil, with members declining to about 1.8 million in 2010 from about 2.1 million in 2000, even as Brazil’s evangelical Christians grew in proportion to the rest of the population during that time.

If the new Solomon’s Temple is meant to lure new attention to the Universal Church, that strategy is working.

Passers-by stop in front of it day and night. Some take pictures with their cellphones. Many stare at it in amazement, expressing their reactions on a crowded sidewalk where watchmen, described as “Guardians of the Temple” on their uniforms, patrol the entrance.

“The temple is so enormous, so beautiful, but also so ostentatious,” Solange Barbosa de Nascimento, 58, a seamstress who worships at another Brazilian evangelical church called Peace and Love, said one recent morning. “I wonder if they could have spent all that money another way, just caring for the poor.”

Did Black Slaves Revolt in Iraq?

100 Amazing Facts About the Negro: The Revolt of the Zanj was a very different kind of operation for freedom in Iraq.

"A Slave Gang in Zanzibar"

The Illustrated London News (March 16, 1889), vol. 94, p. 343. Engraving based on sketch by W.A. Churchill.

<EM>Editor’s note: For those who are wondering about the retro title of this black-history series, please take a moment to learn about historian Joel A. Rogers, author of the 1934 book 100 Amazing Facts About the Negro With Complete Proof, to whom these “amazing facts” are an homage.

Amazing Fact About the Negro No. 88: Which event in black history took place in what is now Iraq?

Most days bring anguished headlines from Iraq—of rivalries so deep, so fierce and longstanding that even the noblest interventions merely halt, but never heal, the divide. As we debate the legacy of our own eight-year intervention, we remain ever mindful of the sacrifices of the more than 4,000 U.S. soldiers who, to quote Lincoln at Gettysburg, “gave the last full measure of devotion” to Operation Iraqi Freedom, including the last to die there in a roadside bombing in Baghdad on Nov. 14, 2011. His name was David Emanuel Hickman, a 23-year-old Army specialist from Greensboro, N.C., and he was a month shy of returning home.

He also happened to be black. When I think of Hickman and the other African-American soldiers killed in Iraq, I wonder whether they knew that long before the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade brought the African people to the New World, eastern trade routes carried others to the Arabian Peninsula, or that within the borders of where they were deployed, 1,150 years before, thousands of enslaved Africans rebelled against the ruling class whose ancestors had built Baghdad into the capital of a vast Islamic empire.

The Revolt of the Zanj (869-883 A.D.), as it is called, was a very different kind of operation for freedom a thousand years before our own Civil War, and it lasted more than three times as long—and nearly twice as long as the Iraq War. Although scholarship at least since Herbert Aptheker’s pioneering research has documented slave revolts in this country, few of us have heard of the Zanj, even though many schoolchildren are familiar with the much earlier gladiator-led slave insurrection against the Roman Republic, immortalized in the 1960 Stanley Kubrick film Spartacus.

Middle East Slavery

“But, wait!” you say. “Black slaves in Iraq? The Middle East?” Today, American children—thanks to the revolution fostered by the institutionalization of black studies starting in the late 1960s—mainly learn about slavery starting with the Middle Passage, the tens of thousands of slave ships that headed west from Africa across the Atlantic to the Americas between the 16th and 19th centuries. But, it turns out, there’s a good chance the European powers that backed those ships learned to link slavery and race from the eastern powers that once occupied the same lands. That’s what the dean of the history of slavery, David Brion Davis of Yale University, posits in his 2003 book Challenging the Boundaries of SlaveryTo be sure, Iraq wasn’t called Iraq back then (its current borders weren’t established until after World War I). It was known generally as Mesopotamia, the land of the Tigris and Euphrates, and was part of a sprawling caliphate empire that stretched from southern Asia to North Africa and the Iberian Peninsula.

As old and as violent as the conflict is between Sunni and Shiite Muslims, slavery is even older. It predates the written historical record, Davis writes, and at critical turns was supported legally by the major religions of Judaism and Christianity. Islam followed. And as the teachings of the Koran spread from Mecca to the conquered lands of Africa and beyond, beginning in the seventh century, the lucrative slave trade expanded from Africa back to the Middle East. (For those who don’t know, there are only 20 miles from the Horn of Africa to the Arabian Peninsula at its closest point, across the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, linking the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean by way of the Red Sea.)

Don’t get me wrong: Africans were not just slaves in Mesopotamia. Some played key roles in the formation of Islam, as Leyla Keogh notes in her entry on the Middle East in Africana: The Encyclopedia of the African and African American Experience, Second Edition. But, over time, the enslavement of African men and women went hand in hand with the maturation of Islam, and the caliphate’s reliance on foreign, non-Arabic-speaking slaves, black and white, intensified as the empire grew…

A Bitter Harvest: California, Marijuana and the New Jim Crow

Wednesday, 25 June 2014 11:04 By Chris Moore-Backman, Truthout | Radio Documentary

This radio documentary is the first segment in Truthout's serialization of Chris Moore-Backman's Bringing Down the New Jim Crow. New episodes will be posted over the course of the next four weeks, here.

Marijuana is the single largest agricultural commodity in California, and it is the primary vehicle for the war on drugs' racialized arrest and incarceration system, which has our prisons bursting at the seams nationwide. Great numbers of predominantly white men and women grow, harvest and process marijuana in California for distribution throughout the United States. Local law enforcement and the communities they represent - communities whose economies are marijuana-dependent - benefit from letting this part of the illegal process go mostly undetected, while the crackdown happens almost exclusively in poor inner-city neighborhoods of color.

"A Bitter Harvest" follows the eyewitness narrative of Monica Bell, a young farmer in Nevada County, California, who read The New Jim Crow while witnessing the influx of white marijuana workers into her area during the fall harvest season. Bell's candid and perceptive account is complemented by interviews with Michelle Alexander, Stephen Gutwillig (Drug Policy Alliance), and the late Vincent Harding (renowned veteran of the African-American Freedom Movement). Each of these voices help crack open the question of why and how California's marijuana industry is directly tied to the racial injustices of the system of mass incarceration. The result is a radio documentary that grapples head on with the reality of white privilege in the United States.

The “Democratic” Origin and Evolution of Racism

Einstein reasoned, you “cannot alter a condition with the same mindset that created it in the first place.” In other words, solutions require thinking that transcends the mindset which caused and/or contributes to undesirable conditions.  Using this premise to examine racism in America, the question becomes: To what origin is modern racism anchored and how can existing bounds of thought be transcended for new national discourse to redress the causes and conditions?

First, some honest but controversial realities must be recognized since racism did not emerge unexplainably.  Racism in America originated from democracy in America.  But America finds this offensive since it makes America’s character appear no different than “undemocratic” people that America “won’t negotiate with” today.   To deflect this onus, America maintains the flawed notion that the impact of slavery and segregation is inconsequential . . . that 50 years of desegregation somehow nullifies 4 centuries of dehumanization.

This popularizes the misbelief that racism is no longer structural nor intrinsic to society, but rather attitudinal and limited to “random” outbursts from “fringe” individuals like Donald Sterling, whose proposed punishment involves forcing him to profit from selling the Clippers (with 12 of 14 players being Black) for $2 billion.

Modern racism is an extension of 1619 slavery, conjoined to profiteering.  Despite the grandeur, July 4, 1776 is when racism was not only normalized in democracy, but also camouflaged through flowery language in America’s founding documents.  This has furnished American democracy with a velvet-glove exterior that encases the racism of its interior.  Hence, no other contemporary people in a “democracy” have undergone more systemic racism longer than African Americans . . . and although slavery is immoral, it wasn’t quite “immoral-enough” to discredit anyone from making Mt. Rushmore.

To be fair, upon ridding themselves from what they deemed British tyranny, the founders could have genuinely become extraordinary by simply honoring their “creed of equality.”  But rather than condemn slavery, they used their sovereign powers to enforce slavery.  This helped incubate a fixed ideo-political environment for “guilt-free racism” to saturate society inter-generationally, whereby reparations is still dismissed as near-laughable.

Based on “military necessity” emancipation occurred in 1865 but without proper conciliatory or compensatory measures.  Democracy thereafter produced 99 more years of systemic racism that encompassed: reconstruction failures; sharecropping peonage; Black Codes; convict leasing; thousands of uninvestigated lynchings; medical experimentations at Ivy League universities; and Lincoln’s 13th Amendment that abolished slavery, yet provided wiggle-room for slavery to exist “as a punishment for crime.”

Moreover, the 13th Amendment insultingly comprises only 43 words.  Think about it – How can 2½ centuries of institutionalized slavery and racism be earnestly amended in merely 43 words?  Paula Deen used more words to apologize for saying the N-word, and Imus for saying “nappy-headed hoes.”

Racism has also evolved over time, whereas racists norms once entailed having your wife “borrowed” for the night; or being lynched to the delight of mobs for “being too big for your britches;” or being prohibited from drinking “white water” while policemen cannonball-blast you with white fire-hydrant water. Today however, Obama is president; Oprah is a billionaire; Dr. King has a holiday; Jay Z’s partnership with Barney’s remains intact; Denny’s serves Black people; and the Clippers have a symbolic interim Black CEO.

Racism now though is metaphorically like “death by a thousand cuts” from subtle but certain subordination and disparities in housing, healthcare, education, employment (firing/hiring/promotions/salary), wealth, profiling, arrests, incarcerations, etc.  And even more problematic is the psycho-subliminal aspects of racism . . . Since the 1940s, the Clarks’ “Doll Experiment” proves that Black children are socially engineered (by age-5) to regard Black dolls/people as inferior, uglier, badder and dumber than White dolls/people.

This confirms the pathologies of what W.E.B. Dubois (1903) termed “Double Consciousness” and Carter Woodson (1933) termed “Mis-Education,” which stagnate original Black development and world contributions.  Such engineering also constricts the boundaries of thought that require transcending to redress racism, as Einstein alluded.

In response, African Americans should aver to no longer allow the historiography of the Black experience to be politically tortured with skewed idealisms until it falsely confesses the sanitized versions of democracy that anchor the structural, attitudinal, psychological racism of today.  This perhaps can initiate new national discourse on racism to snip other pseudo-democratic tenants and tentacles that tie to more centuries-old falsehoods that African Americans should also learn to unlearn.

Allah gave the land of Israel to the Jews

Al Quds and other Arab media outlets published this amazing article this weekend:

Sheikh Ahmad Adwan, who introduces himself as a Muslim scholar who lives in Jordan, said on his personal Facebook page that there is no such thing as “Palestine” in the Koran. Allah has assigned the Holy Land to the Children of Israel until the Day of Judgment (Koran, Sura 5 – “The Sura of the Table”, Verse 21), and “We made the Children of Israel the inheritors (of the land)” (Koran, Sura 26 – “The Sura of the Poets”, Verse 59). "I say to those who distort their Lord’s book, the Koran: From where did you bring the name Palestine, you liars, you accursed, when Allah has already named it “The Holy Land” and bequeathed it to the Children of Israel until the Day of Judgment. There is no such thing as 'Palestine' in the Koran. Your demand for the Land of Israel is a falsehood and it constitutes an attack on the Koran, on the Jews and their land. Therefore you won’t succeed, and Allah will fail you and humiliate you, because Allah is the one who will protect them (i.e. the Jews).” The sheikh added: “The Palestinians are the killers of children, the elderly and women. They attack the Jews and then they use those (children, the elderly and women) as human shields and hide behind them, without mercy for their children as if they weren’t their own children, in order to tell the public opinion that the Jews intended to kill them. This is exactly what I saw with my own two eyes in the 70’s, when they attacked the Jordanian army, which sheltered and protected them. Instead of thanking it (the Jordanian army), they brought their children forward to (face) the Jordanian army, in order to make the world believe that the army kills their children. This is their habit and custom, their viciousness, their having hearts of stones towards their children, and their lying to public opinion, in order to get its support.”

It is worth mentioning, that the above mentioned sheikh visited Israel and met Jewish religious scholars. The “Israel in Arabic” site conducted an interview with him, in which he said that the reason for his openness towards the Jewish people “comes from my acknowledgment of their sovereignty on their land and my belief in the Koran, which told us and emphasized this in many places, like His (Allah’s) saying ”Oh People (i.e the Children of Israel), enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned unto you” (Koran, Sura 5 – “The Sura of the Table”, Verse 21), and His saying “We made the Children of Israel the inheritors (of the land)” (Koran, Sura 26 – “The Sura of the Poets”, Verse 59) and many other verses. He (Adwan) added: “(The Jews) are peaceful people who love peace, who are not hostile and are not aggressors, but if they are attacked, they defend themselves while causing as little damage to the attackers as possible. It is an honor for them that Allah has chosen them over the worlds – meaning over the people and the Jinns until the Day of Judgment. I made the reasons for Allah’s choice clear in my books and pamphlets. When Allah chose them, He didn’t do so out of politeness, and He wasn’t unjust other peoples, it is just that they (the Jews) deserved this.”

“O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust:

save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

O Lord my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;

If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me;

(yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)

Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

Arise, O Lord, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies:

and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.

So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about:

for their sakes therefore return thou on high.

The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness,

and according to mine integrity that is in me.

Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just:

for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.”
